Dec 12, 2007 amber color with a nice off-white head. Sweet malty aroma, fresh fruits, cherry, and a touch of oak. Nice body. Flavor isn’t as sweet or fruity as the aroma, more malts and iron. Nothing memorable good or bad with this one.
IslandHaole (1026), Onna-Son, Okinawa-Ken, Japan
Oct 26, 2007 (Nov 05) A deep orange color, clear with several floaties, active bubbles from the bottom of the glass feed a thin brige foamy head. Sweet malty scent, sweet taste, a bit of caramel with a hint of copper penny. Simple and uneventful but still tasty.
