COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Beer was then transported to India from the British colony of its past, was a bitter personality with plenty of hops to withstand the long voyage. That is transmitted as a single beer style India Pale Ale After that, the smell-taste crisp hop bitterness is earnestly to attract beer lovers. Use plenty of American hops aroma reminiscent of citrus in Ozenoyukidoke IPA, characterized by a fruity aroma. Using a luxurious 5 times the usual hops, beer of the pale ale was the type of system effectiveness to bitterness than flavor.

on cask at popeye in tokyo, 2 versions, one listed as centennial, the other as northern brewer and magnum. clear golden with a lingering white head and plenty of lacing; the centennial version had a strong candle wax aroma, hints of lychee, while the 2nd version had plenty of menthol in the aroma; both were packed with bitterness, somewhat grassy, more bitterness. delicious

11-12 oz bottle served in a lowball glass at Toki Underground in DC. Clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of citrus fruit and peel, light floral notes. Tastes of citrus, lemon, floral notes, sweet malt. Nice fruitiness. Medium body with a semi-dry finish. Medium carbonation. Tasty with Taiwanese ramen and Japanese inspired dishes.

Bottle (from Japan)
Golden color, small white head. Aroma has tropical fruits, resiny hop oily stickyness. Medium-bodied. Front shows that lots of hops have been used. Very oily, resiny flavor. Citrus, fruityness. Then has enough sweet fruityness to make aftertaste less bitter. Interesting flavors and aromas for "only" 5% beer.

From bottle. Cloudy copper in glass. Note us large grapefruit and pine. Flavor is much the same. Medium body. Bitter finish. Creamier than expected. Cuts down spice nicely.

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Slightly hazy deep golden body with a lively white head. Aroma is light caramel and citrus. The palate is light all around, with lemony citrus and caramel, ending with a moderate bitterness. Not very complex, and certainly not intense, but not offensive either.

I picked up a bottle of this IPA from Ryujin Brewery (Gunma) at Yamaoka in Kyoto. Served in a shaker half-pint glass it pours a lovely clear copperish gold with a great hop bouquet of pine, citrus & resin/dank notes - good stuff. The medium body is smooth and the taste is a dank bitter pine with a sweet bitter finish. Itís really well balanced. This is a really solid Japanese IPA you donít hear much about down in Kansai. Iíll have to try more beers from these guys. At 5 % I nominate this as a good sessionable Japanese IPA.
