2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
.5l can (in perfect croatian colors). typical weak yellow pour. Nose is more spritely, champagne-like. Effervescent flavor, closer in feeling to a belgian tripel (yea, a stretch) than the typical lagers here. A welcome changeup... nice carbonation and flavor.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can from the LCBO. Light golden, snow white head, grainy/bready malt, grassy/herbal hops, well-balanced, no off flavours - yeah, it’s a slightly better than average Euro-lager. Not much else to say beyond that.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
500 mL can. Pours a clear straw yellow with a scanty white head that seems to want to cling to the sides, leaving lace on the sides as it was sipped. The aroma is sweet malt and grains with a very subtle innuendo of caramel and grass, slightly fruity but without the skunk of most Euros. Actually a sweet aroma. Smooth carbonation. The taste is a light malt with a light caramel aftertaste and a clean finish. The hops are a bit shy with this one but they are there. Light body but with beer flavor, not water flavor. This is pivo. This is beer! Ozujsko = Croatian for a great, refreshing summer beer. Zivjeli!

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(on bottle) Hayyellow, beige head. Nice mellow and light malt nose. Refreshing, without any personality or features. Just a good beer for that summerday, I guess.

Draft in Vodice, Croatia. My favorite Croat beer so far. Has quite a kick to it - a bit eggy. Bitter with a tall head.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
A big fizzy white head tops off this clear golden brew. Smells like apples and corn. The Flavour is sweet with some dusty hops and more apples. Lightly bready finish. Average light, smooth palate. Better than expected. refreshing.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Supercan. Clear golden, robust white head with respectable retention and a little lace. Aroma is of wet hair and corn. Flavour is of simple clean grains with a very mild bitter finish. Nothing to warrant re-purchase.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: JUN 8, 2010 Half liter can:
Pours a pale clear straw color in the glass. Modest rocky head reduced quickly, weak lacing, heavily carbonated.
Aroma is light with stale grains and a light sweetness, and a weird wet metallic smell.
Thin and sweet, in a bad way like boiled peas type of sweet, weak beer with a weird character

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A pretty good beer, but dissapointing for my first Croatian beer. A pour of golden yellow body with a fluffy white head. Aroma of grainy and slight hoppy flavours. Crisp and easy drinking beer. Overall, it compares to msot Eastern European beers.
