This was left over by a guest, the first "light" beer I’ve ever tasted. Poured acornish- yellow and was much better then I expected, being free and believing you get what you pay for. A good cheap, light beer.

It's like PBR only watered down. Watered down flatness Says it all BUT it IS cheap. So points for being economical ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Probably the most taste free beer I’ve ever had. Doesn’t smell terrible. Definitely a porch pounder.

Bless their hearts for trying, but Pabst Blue Ribbon Light is an abomination.

12 oz can: A bit of cardboard, grainy, somewhat skunky aroma with a slight scent of hops. Appearance is a clear golden with a thick white head that dissipates quickly. Taste is aqueous, a slight bit of the cardboard, very light malt, and very light hop. When I’m saying very light I’m being kind, but palate is clean clear and goes down like water. Overall, PBR light? It is what it is. a cheap beer for college students to drink 20 of in a night. Cheers!

"Thanks" to PorterPounder. This beer has been held aside for me for endless ages. Kept cold, and in darkness, the brew sought me like a leech seeks a bloody cut. Hominy/corny, crisp aroma, with light hopping. Bad can, clear gold beer with a fluffy white head. Not bad for a light beer, crisp Saaz hops, dry, moderately tangy, corny. Tangy aftertaste, medium-light body. Really, this was not bad for a light beer. Better than say, Bud Light or Natty Light. I perceive maize. Given that the expectations for the beer are low, I’d say that it met and exceeded those expectations. If it’s free lawnmower beer, don’t turn it down.

Wilmington Island, Ga - Kroger - 12 oz can. Pours a very light golden with a thin but persistent white head, nice bubble action. Wet paper bag aroma, hint of corn and spoiled grain, Typical cheap lager bland flavor. Some grassy notes, a bit of spent grain. Nothing offensive, nothing to get excited about though. Thinnish mouthfeel. Would serve well as a yard work thirst quencher.

bottle. Poured clear, very light amber, with a thinning white head. Light grainy, hay aroma. Mouthfeel is light, crisp with carbonation. Flavour is very subdued, some pale malt and corn flavour. Finishes clean with no aftertaste. Not any worse than Pabst.

Originally rated September 2006. Was quite pleased with this light beer last night, as I drank many from the bottle. Now, tonight, is the proper test. Pours a very pale gold colour with a foamy white head. Surprisingly, this one stays longer than expected and lace is formed. Wow ! Aroma is quite nasty, like metal rusting with your neighbour’s compost. Last night, the taste was malty and semi-sweet. Tonight, it’s mainly corn and water. Much better from the bottle, but if you want Pabst (moneywise), stick with the normal one.

How do you make PBR like 50% worse? Take out all of the taste and calories and make it a "light" beer. I’m a PBR girl, but PBR light is basically like drinking water. I’ll settle for one of the other light beers.
