greystreet80 (191), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Jun 18, 2003 A decent beer for your buck. The taste leaves much to be desired but leaves money in your wallet.
sneagrams3 (1453), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Oct 11, 2008 Tasted 10/9/08. 12oz Can. Filtered with a pale golden hue. Finger width of quickly dissipating head. Cereal aromas. Light bodied with a big effervescence. Mild cereal malts. I don’t know why they bothered, but it is what it is. Meh... borgination (101), Lee, Massachusetts, USA Sep 28, 2008 Disgusting light crap. Gave me a screaming headache. Not worth it at all. Drink water instead, you’ll be better off.
mansquito (645), Boston/Philadelphia, USA Sep 9, 2008 Um... ok... so you take Pabst and water it down and you get this. So it is bad. But hey it is at least easy watery drinking and has a taste of that Pabst crappiness that we all love, so I can’t hate this beer all the way except because it is so blasphemous against the very good name of Pabst. Magjayran (1157), Durham, North Carolina, USA Aug 8, 2008 On one hand it looks like it’s supposed to with a nice white head. On the other hand it faintly smells of metal and corn. On my third hand it tastes like nothing aged in rusty barrels. On my fourth hand it goes down quickly. Unfortunately for PBR light, I have 5 hands and my fifth hand didn’t like this one at all. antzman (305), Clarksville, Indiana, USA Jul 14, 2008 Can. I had a customer special order a 30 pack of this. He read somwhere that it is only 55 calories a can. He gave me a can to try out of the goodness of his heart. I know how they got the calories so low, the took out all the flavor. Pours a pale straw yellow with a thin head. Where’s the red hue of the traditional Pabst? The aroma is very thin, almost not there at all. The flavor is, well, it’s not there at all. I really did not taste much of anything in this beer. A hint of hops, and a muted version of the yeast. I think if more Bud Light drinkers would try this, they would switch in a heartbeat.
