joechristenson (2), Minnesota, USA does not count Nov 5, 2009 While not absolutely repugnant, this beer certainly isn’t worthy of much, excepting college parties and very cheap nights. If you accidentally bought a twelve pack, you can serve it along as a joke with the implicit suggestion that your drinking comrades have no taste. Palate is dreadful, too much carbonation; prickly, I’d say. Not much aroma, though when detectable it’s rather inoffensive. I could definitely taste some corn. jamespgentry (18), Washington, USA Nov 2, 2009 why am I even bothering to rate this beer? I must be drunk. Color: piss. Aroma: sweet piss. Flavor: old piss. Basically, drink a gallon of Milwaukee municipal tap water, then piss in to some cans and call it a beer. Voila! PBR! That being said, I drank my fare share in college and continue to frequent it’s ranks at BBQ’s and house parties. What the hell, pick up a twelve pack for old times sake! Elwood (647), Leesburg, Virginia, USA Nov 1, 2009 Serving: 12 oz. can.
Appearance: Clear, pale gold color with a foamy, white head. The head is gone in seconds and it leaves behind no lacing.
Aroma: Grainy with notes of corn sugar and a touch of alcohol.
Flavor: Green apple, corn, dry grain, and alcohol. Very watery. This is absolute swill.
Palate: Watery with sparse carbonation and a light mouthfeel. Short, alcohol laden finish.
Overall: This is complete crap. JBVatkeens (7), Florida, USA does not count Nov 1, 2009 I had this beer on tap in a pint glass. This beer had no noticeable aroma and tasted like a odd cross between un-popped popcorn kernels and rice cakes. agillespie81 (190), Denver, Colorado, USA Oct 29, 2009 Aroma - faint hop;
Appearance - light golden, fluffy head, almost no lacing;
Flavor - mild grain front, bitter hop back, finish is dry;
Palate - crisp, light body;
Overall - similar to a "light" malt liquor, not quite horrible to drink yet something I wouldn’t ever ask for. noid1985 (49), Broadview, Illinois, USA Oct 26, 2009 Cheap and very bitter beer. Pretty much on par with all of the other Macro brew lagers in the land of the free and cheap Allen (1282), Switzerland Oct 26, 2009 Bottled 355ml. Pale golden with a white head. Sulphur, burnt match, corn and soda in the nose. Grainy taste with some slight hops. Corny. Slight arabic gum sneaking in. The taste is clearly better than the aroma. Uglyradio (773), Greenville, South Carolina, USA Oct 20, 2009 Light sugary aroma...Clear, fizzy pour...Light golden color....Inoffensive flavor of corn adjuncts...No hops...Smooth easy drink straight from the can....Good for what it is...An American macro pale lager...
