UPDATED: NOV 27, 2003 Orlando Beer Fest: Straw-colored. Now that Pabst isn't even brewed by Pabst, I wasn't surprised that this tasted like Miller. Mellow citrus. General factory beer. Not disgusting.

This beer is great in itís own right. In my opinon, its Americaís greatest cheap beer, for what thatís worth. But it certainly has its place. If youíre gathering with a bunch of friends (more than likely college kids) this is not a bad beer to sip in the back yard, or at a weekend party. Itís better than any of the other low budget beers because it doesnít actually taste like the can itís poured from. I enjoy it, not because it tastes excellent in any sense, but given the right situation, this beer will give you the best effect/taste for your money. I donít think any other inexpensive beer compares.

RERATE: Had many from can at local band bar. Amazingly good taste - you wouldnít believe it. No foulness that you would expect (a la Beast) - subtle taste and not overly carbonated. Tastes like beer should, not water like Bud Light. PBR & High Life are neck & neck for underrated beers of the century. OLD: Enjoyed out of the bottle recently. Surprising grainy aftertaste is delightful, almost wheatish. Better than any standard macrobrew and most midlevels, too.
Cheap as crap, so I would call it underpriced. Enjoyable on tap (yep, many bars here actually tap this stuff up) and really isnít bad. Even my buddyís girlfriendís princess pals drink it.

One of those beers that is nostalgic for some people. Picked up a 30 pack over the summer more for the humor than the flavor. "PBR me A.S.A.P."!!! Not a bad beer for a hot Saturday afternoon while mowing the lawn.
