Not terrible, not great. I drank this in a 5.9% alcohol content. It’s the cheapest 6 pack you can pick up in my area. Bad initial palate, very bad. But whatever, I’ll drink it.

The only redeeming qualities about this beer are the price and the lack of association with bad commercials or beer guzzling college students. It is the only beer I will touch that has noticeable acetaldehyde--that nasty poison that gives you hangovers. I stay away from it for the most part, but when I pop one I know what I’m in for. No aroma, no flavor, abundant fizziness and an instant headache. Cheers!

Pours yellow with a tall thick head, looks like any other pale lager. Cheap sweet aroma of malt and corn. Flavour is nice. fresh and sweet with a creamy thickness, and at 5.6% it is a force to be reconed with. It is much better than I expecyed and have to say I would much rather have this than a kokanee or Canadian.

16 oz can. Has that macro cheap-adjunct shit smell. Pours a thick head which dissipates in about a minute to a thin collar of foam. Nice lacing. Tastes of cereal grains. Starts semi-sweet, finishes slightly bitter. Body is thin, lots of carbonation. Better than Bud, but it’s just not very good. I’ll drink it if I’m in the mood to get mindlessly drunk up camping or around the table playing drinking games, but that’s about all it’s good for. I don’t understand why this beer is seeing a resurgance in popularity in the U.S. It’s brainless beer. It’s the Paris Hilton of beer. I don’t get it.

Yellow pour, bland cardboard aroma. Flavor is a bit grassy and papery with some sweet corny notes as well. This stuff has a tendency to give me a serious stomach ache.

A - Cardboard. Corny malt and grain. Maybe some grassy hay and dough. Fizzy yellow profile. A - Very light, almost urine pale-yellow into Surly pint. White head that recedes into nothing on top. F - Malt and grain midway. Again with the cardboard and dough. Sweet. Corn and honey. Metallic. P - One of the more poundable macros in my book. Nicely carbonated mouth. Pretty watery thin, with a slight tingle that finishes well. O - Drinkable. Non-offensive. Not good, especially flavorful, or unique. Par for the Pale Lager course. Still don’t know why 3Fs, and probably many other micro pubs, keep this on list in the cooler. Kitchy? Probably the best $4 you could spend on a 6 pack of canned micro, though. Really leaves me wishing America had fallen in love with the STOUT or IPA instead of the lager in 1893. If anyone gets drunk and invents a time machine, send me a message.

Golden yellow pour, either all head or no head. Corny aroma and taste with lots of fizzies but patriotic. Great label on cans and great for $1 pitchers.
