on tap-had an initial taste that was completely watered down, but seemed to get somewhat better as I drank more. Poured the lightest golden color I’ve seen in a beer and aroma was lacking. Was disappointing, but for the price can you really complain.

Pours a clear straw sort of color with a quickly dissipating head leaving no lace, bubbles flying up from the bottom. Mostly a grain smell, pretty clean, with a hint of floralness. Grainy in taste, but not in a bad way, a little bit of corn, and only a touch of hops. Taste almost dances on your tongue with the amount of carbonation. I imagine this as a great beer with many different foods. Higher carbonation, but seems to be a nice addition to this one. Light to medium body, I expected very light body, but having a little something there is nice. I usually don’t save any room for macro’s in my fridge, but I may be able to squeeze a little room for this. Seems like this would be good for many occasions, BBQ, lawnmowing, fishing, just being out and about and just wanting something simple.

One of the preeminent beers in a more than 100 years of American beer swill. Better than Bud and Miller and their respective lite beers, but not a good beer.

My uncle drinks this stuff exclusively, so I can’t rate it low without getting on his bad side. I will say this though, vmilaxer29 has adequately described this laxitive to the max.

I thought for a second that you could only find this stuff in West Va, but I guess I was wrong. The bottom line is that you need a thick, full beard and a stomach lining made of steel to drink this shit.

Pours a bubbly pale urine golden. Sparse, foamy head. Tastes like a generic American pale. I don’t see what people see in this beer, aside from it’s cheap price. And thats no good reason to like a beer. It’s still a generic over-carbonated drain of a pale lager.

I tried this for the first time the other day. That was absolutely foul. At first, I thought I had a skunky can, and decided to give it another try with another six pack. Wow! I am amazed at what people will try to pass off as beer these days. I know crackhead alcoholics that would not drink this stuff.

ok i am obviously starting my beer rating by rating cheap beers. Pabst is the best of the cheap. Tastes better (taste is a strong word here) than many of the more expensive American macro lagers, and definitely better than all beers at the same price. And most of all - drinking PBR is cool and i feel COOL drinking it. haha
