Not at all bad by budget beer standards. one could go and do much worse..much worse. Standard style pour. taste: sweet adjuncts, fuel, with a slight unpleasant finish. Usually the cheapest beer at the bar scene, always a deal and it makes your look like you won a blue ribbon. Ask your nearest bartender for specials first of course.

16oz can. Pours light golden colour. On the nose metallic, hint of yeast and light hop. Taste is standard macrobrew hint of yeast slightly papery.

I actually prefer this beer over any other American pale lagers. Aroma and taste of malts and corn.

16oz Can. Corn aroma, twinge of hop bitterness. Smooth with a sweet corny finish. I prefer it to most other awful pale lagers.

355ml bottle from Beers of Europe (£1.69):
What can I say about this one? It was pretty much as expected and not at all good, the smell in particular being a poor one but it did manage to remain at least partially drinkable, just not all that enjoyable. The taste was fairly basic and I could imagine it appealing to your macro lager drinkers due to it’s crisp, clean taste but it wasn’t a good beer at all.

Drank straight from the 24oz can while enjoying the musical stylings of Cheap Trick. Not good but at least it’s cheap even at an overpriced venue.

My brother in law is visiting and he brought some of this into my house - typical watery, sweet, andjuncty american lager - moderate acidity that gets a little sharp on the tail end - faint grassy hoppiness - a lot of vegetal character in the finish - creamed corn - bleck.

can @ Cork n’ Bottle / Crescent Springs --- Clear straw color, white head cover, streaks of lace. Taste is malt and corn the moves timidly through the palate to a finish that may have a little bittering. I can’t believe I drank this in 1970 while in college, but,... I did.

As far as light lagers go, I enjoy this one. Clear pale yellow, nose of straw and malt. Tastes bitter, straw, watery, a bit malty. Will drink again.
