Not at all bad by budget beer standards. one could go and do much worse..much worse. Standard style pour. taste: sweet adjuncts, fuel, with a slight unpleasant finish. Usually the cheapest beer at the bar scene, always a deal and it makes your look like you won a blue ribbon. Ask your nearest bartender for specials first of course.

Gotta say this was pretty bad. Watery and dull. No carbonation. Thought this might be ok but was hugely disappointed. That said not chemically. Just blaaaaaaandddd.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
How have I never had this!? Time to fix that! Appearance: looks like pee. Minor head evaporates fast, leaving very little lacing. Aroma of corn and metal. Some earth and popcorn character comes through as it sits more, but mostly just corn and metal. Tastes like water, corn, metal, and earth. Lots and lots of water. And lots and lots of carbonation. A plain, cheap pale lager in all its tepid glory. But itís backed by a proud American history! Long live watery PBR!

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Light gold with a big bubble white head. Dusty, grainy aroma. Light malt flavor with no noticeable hop presence. Very light bodied and amazingly neutral. Nothing objectionable and nothing noteworthy either.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Pale yellow with small white head. Aroma weak hay notes. Taste weak malts. Absolutely no need to export or even brew this boring beer.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons, Calais. One of my whales. Clear gold lasting white head. Corn and rice aroma. Itís a not very good pale lager. What can I say. Itís slightly drinkable. Vague sting on the finish. Itís kinda ok. Not awful. Some paper. Some vague lemon. Itís ok actually.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
On draught at Loganís, Victoria, Canada (I was feeling adventurous). Pours transparent yellow, no head to speak of. Nose is slight DMS, corn, malt. Flavour is some grain, some corn, but (importantly) not too sweet. Though the hype around this product eludes me, I think itís better than average North American industrial pale lager.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
From pint can. Pours a clear straw with a fluffy and persistent white head and moderate carbonation. Aromas of noble hops, grain and a hint of lime. Taste is very faint -corn and some citrus. Aqueous body. Clean finish with virtually no aftertaste. Donít see what all the fuss is about.
