mustangjoe (168), redondo beach, California, USA Jul 23, 2007 Finally tried this one last night. So many people swear that it’s the best cheap beer out there. I don’t know, pretty similar to the rest of them. Pale yellow, with little aroma or flavor. Don’t know when, if ever, I’ll have it again.
Swalden_28 (640), McKinney, Texas, USA Oct 10, 2008 Can from Kegs & Barrels in McKinney, TX. Pours a clear light gold, fizzy white head. Aroma of faint hops and malt. Flavor has a noticable malt and hop profile, faint, but noticable and not nasty. Mouthfeel is light bosy and high carbonation...I’ll be honest here, I was pleasantly suprised by this.....It is actually a good cheap lager compared to it’s usual competition.... drwho322 (2), Georgia, USA does not count Oct 8, 2008 Is it delicious? Not really. Is it perfect? Not even close. But, at a cookout, on a hot day this is the beer of choice for me. Add to that the local price of $5 for 6 tallboys and you have a combination that is difficult to beat! Gez (41), Georgia, USA Oct 6, 2008 Well, what can I say? It’s PBR. It’s got a mild flavor, it’s smooth, and best of all it’s CHEAP. What more could you ask for? Very light and easy to drink. Great beer for an even better price. masonjer (452), Holt, Michigan, USA Sep 29, 2008 Had this for the first time. I must be going in reverse trying swill now. The only thing to say about this beer is that it is not offensive. I wasn’t immediately turned off by the taste. Quite clean with a little bit of sweetness on the end. but hardly any skunk. No flavor either way. Just clean and tasteless. Best swill I have ever had hands down. borgination (95), Lee, Massachusetts, USA Sep 28, 2008 Overall, the best tasting value beer on the market. For the price, nothing else comes close.
