Pastor (260), Maine, USA May 19, 2008 Can poured into a pint glass produced a big white head that goes to a thin lace on top of a crystal clear gold body
Smell of grains and a light sweetness to it as well
I tasted Watery malt sweetness not too much in the way of bitters in the flavors, Crisp light mouthfeel.
Drinkability is Not good not bad either I’ll go with average
stchloe (129), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 7, 2008 Apparently there are variations, shocking! Not the best domestic certainly but one of the cheapest. elihapa (260), Connecticut, USA Sep 5, 2008 Drinks fairly smooth, with flavor of malt, sugar, white bread, and a hint of fruit. Not an enjoyable drink by itself, but you gotta respect the 5% alcohol on this sucker if you see it chillin’ at a college party.
tyberius2424 (4), USA does not count Sep 3, 2008 Overall, the best tasting VALUE beer on the market. For the price, nothing else comes close. bocefus (7), Portland, Oregon, USA does not count Sep 3, 2008 The best tasting beer commonly available in a can. For 50 cents a can it sure is hard to beat. unclemike (351), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA Aug 31, 2008 absoulutly love PBR. The price is great n while the taste is pretty good this beer is one of my all time favorites. PBR for president.
