douglas88 (654), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA May 10, 2008 Updated: May 12, 2008 I was in a shitty bar late at night with horrible music playing and what am I drinking-PBR out of a plastic pitcher into a plastic cup. So lets just say I was not receptive to this beer. It was a clear and carbonated gold with a thick white head. The aroma was skunky corn and weird Midwest chemicals. The kind they put on crops in the middle of the night when no one in looking. The taste was too typical, very sweet and fairly crisp. It didn’t kill me.
rylaad (8), Canada does not count Jul 25, 2008 Easy as water to drink, probably because it tastes just like water. But it is cheap, great for beer pong and parties because honestly after the first four or five beers at a party my taste buds stop workin twitcher (121), framingham, Massachusetts, USA Jul 22, 2008 Straight from the can. Purchased for friends on a camping trip... why not tip a couple back! Appearance... who know, never made it out of the can. Aroma is pretty bad. Smells or rice and a weird dank yeasty aroma. Flavor actually isn’t as bad as I was expecting. A light touch of bitterness, and some weak but crisp lager yeast notes over an also weak but at least smooth and not too offensive malt character. Palate, unsurprisingly, is about as watery and weak as it gets, but it is a light lager. Overall... not the worst thing on a hot summer day, and the price can’t be beat. I’ve had craft brews that were far more disappointing. AOF (277), Naperville, Illinois, USA Jul 21, 2008 12 oz can. Never poured it, so I cant tell you anything about its looks. Taste wise its like any other run of the mill American lager. Small malty and corn aromas, light bodied, easy to drink. raymondwave (756), Finland Jul 21, 2008 Canned. Sweetish, thin. Fairly tasteless, but bares a strangely artficial sweet and unappetizing flavor without being harsh. Just watery and uninteresting. And sweetish. laguerita (54), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 19, 2008 watery lousy pale lager devoid of any complexity of flavor or evidence that there was any effort put into the recipe. on the upside....umm....nevermind.
