Since 2001, contract-brewed for Pabst Brewing (San Antonio), as Pabst no longer owns a brewery of its own.

Established in Milwaukee in 1844, this is the original Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. Nature’s choicest products provide its prized flavor. Only the finest of hops and grains are used. Selected as America’s Best in 1893.

12 oz can. Giving a 4/5 on appearance because the can looks so damn classy. Aroma is yeasty, a little malt, not much else. Flavor is also thin, with a metallic finish. Palate is so thin you barely remember drinking one. It’s fine.

473ml (!) can from Beers of Europe. Pours clear golden yellow. No head. Aromas of sugar, corn, sweat and metal. There’s lemon pledge too. Taste is white sugar or corn syrup - I can’t decide between the two shitty sweet flavours! This is not good beer and everyone knows it. Irony can go too far.

It is a light gold color with a white head. Has a citrus aroma with hints of wheat and honey. Not much flavor. Pretty watered down and doesn’t really taste like much.

This beer tastes okay but tastes very watered down all of the time. I wish that it had more flavor in it.

17.04.2014, 0,35l bottle @ hotel room in Stockholm:
Small fizzy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, cereal, hay, corn, caramel, paper, grass, popcorn. Taste is very neutral, paper, hay, cereal, grain, metal tank. Little bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. What a waste of beer!

Bu un lendemain de cuite au réveil dans un dinner de Toronto, alors vous vous doutez bien que je n’ai foutrement aucune idée de son goût... Vomi à la rigueur...

Aroma is light and somewhat musty with hay, corn and hints of boiled vegetables. Flavour is also rather light with some boiled vegetables and slight malt notes. Perhaps also some butter. Dry and slightly leathery finish. Very watery and straightforward.

Gets a bit better as ice cold in sauna; some cider-like green apple notes come through and the unpleasant flavours step aside. Grade in sauna: 1.5.

Refreshingly clear taste and golden color. Extraordinarily pure and free from polluting elements. Not just the best beer of America, but the best in the whole world as well.

Pale, flat and boring. Does it get any more generic than this? Take a pass.
