3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A decent, funky beer that owes more to its history than to any real flavor. Better than Bud and Coors, though. Crack one open, pretend it's 1976 and this shit is killer and crank up the Foghat.

At last - the legendary PBR is mine! 355 ml Export version, 4.5% ABV, from Superbrugsen, Ans, Denmark. Pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Sweetish candy aroma, some grassy notes. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour? What flavour? Tastes mainly like carbonated water, just a hint of sweetness reveals that it is not. Papery and "empty" finish. Gets one point for not having any offensive "side flavours".

Blue ribbon hör till den ljusa lagrets era. Ingenting speciellt med denna. Kul att dricka i goda vänners lag och ute på landet. men inget att sitta och njuta över

A beer for the man who prefers a beer that goes down smooth and fast. If you enjoy sipping a pale ale this is not for you. However, if you enjoy knocking back a few and having some fun I think we have a winner.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. 4.5%. Best before 27.01.14. Pours a clear golden/yellow with a diminishing white head. Sweetish aroma, cereals, hops and a light rubber note. Warming brings out a milky note. Flavour is sweetish and mildly bitter, with a cereal note. A light cardboard note as it warms. Dry, slightly tart finish, mildly bitter and with lingering hop and grassy notes. Overall not particularly good, but not quite as bad as I had expected. 16.06.13.

Bottle, bought @ Kvickly, Middelfart. Pours very pale golden with a small, fizzy, white head. Aroma has corn, sweetness, light citrus. High carbonation, thin and watery palate. Flavour is practically nonexistent, mild sweetness, light metal. Nothing else.

Sweet corn, fizzy with just a small hop bite. Not bad for a hipster beer. Very cold and refreshing

12 oz can. Pale straw yellow appearance and clear with a white head. Bland aroma of toasted grains and corn, kind of sweet. Similar flavor with a crisp light body, a little watery. Pretty easy to drink.

Tasted on June 12, 2013: Smells of corn and lemongrass. Tastes the same as the smell. Goes down like water and isn't offensive.
