2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle - a restaurant in La Paz. Poured an effervescent standard lager yellow but with great retention on its dense and creamy white head. Grain, corn, grassy-ish hops, a metallic edge and an underlying boiled sweet maltiness throughout. Light to medium body, some warmth, medium carbonation and a short length bittersweet finish.

Quite sweet and nice to drink. Some foam and nice non so soft features. The brewers are improving there.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
03/10 0.35 l can, courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing and a new beercountry! It poured golden body with medium head. Strange lemony and slightly alcoholic aroma. Sweetish flavor, still herbal and lemony with some alcohol felt. Medium bodied beer with fine sweetish finish, where alcohol still isn’t too predominant. Nothing special of course, but totally acceptable for me.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Canned 350ml. -Pale golden coloured, small to medium sized white head that went away fast, slight herbal alcoholic nose. Quite alcoholic but not so sweet taste with some weak herbal and vegetables notes. Hint of green apple in rather alcoholic finish. One-dimensional but drinkable. 7.2%

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Says "7%" in huge font on the label but also says it’s 7.2%, lovely. My first Bolivian rate, huge thanks to ogivlado!
Poured a golden body with a medium sized thick white head that went away relatively slow. The nose is grainy with some alcohol and vegetables, maybe "herbs" if I’m generous. Sticky taste loaded with alcohol, some apple, not much warmth. Crap.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Light golden coloured body with a very thin white head. Aroma of cardboard, pale malt and very little else. Light-bodied; Strong funky malt flavour with very little else going on. A bit of hops are kind of noticeable, along with some bad fruit tastes and some spoiled sugars. Aftertaste has nothing else pleasant - this one is just bad. Overall, not a bock and I don’t know how one could call it a bock. Plus, this one isn’t good at all - but then again, its worth trying if you are actually in Bolivia. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from a few different places in Cochabamba, Santa Cruz and La Paz, Bolivia on 14-August-2006.

Bottle, light gold carbontaed with a large bubbly white head. A grasy and grainy aroma. Strongly bitter with a good malty flavour. Quite tasty.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
The strongest Bolivian beer available. Big bottle. Light yellow colour small head. Aroma of sweet malt and some alco metal thing. Flavour is sweet and metallic with a strong alcohol touch. An average not so so pleasent aftertaste. Not so good a brew really. Good for the price though and a cheap buzz + more.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
This beer retails for approximately 60 cents in Bolivia (5 bolivianos), and seems to be the country’s answer for Schlitz Blue Bull. Nothing like a bock. In fact, it is pale yellow like all macro-lagers, however the smell is grilled beef, skunked hops and steel. Taste is corn, sweet candy corn, asaid skunked hops, water, strong alcohol and metals. Nothing pleasing about this beer, except when its finally finished. It should only be acceptable to drink this on the way to a dance club when you’re trying to achieve the quickest possible buzz.
