I know I’ve said this with some of these recent swills, but this one poured with really the least color I’ve ever seen. There was a somewhat stable pillowy head that kep this one from being totally ugly. The aroma was of sweet grains and corn. The flavor was sweet and spicey, the latter very unexpected. Unfortunately, rather than just being your every day corn swill, this thing had a nasty band-aid like aftertaste that killed it. Mouthfeel was about average for the style, a touch thin.

A pale orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a light touch of straw, while the flavor is a weird mixture of metal and oranges.

Papsoe (25073) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 8, 2006
(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a pale pilsener golden with a fair, creamy, white head. Aroma of corn and rice. Medium body with strange accents of coal and some smoke (?) - mysterious. Bitter finish. 070606

Jeppe (2631) - Brooklyn, Alabama, USA - JUN 7, 2006
Clear piss yellow, ok white head. Weak aroma of fruit and a little bit hop. Weird flavor of sourish vegetable and light malt. Quite dry. Almost as bad as expected!

Very pale yellow, white head. Aroma from boiled vegetables. No flavor at first, than some smoke (!) shows. Smoky finish as well.

rederic (3211) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 26, 2006
Very pale yellow color, with an off white head, sweet pale malt aromas, with a grainy note, follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a quite strange sort of a hint of smoky earthy pale malt, with a fruity note, toasted grains accent, leading towards a snappy bitter hop finish.

ha1ag (785) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - APR 15, 2006
A very light yellow colored, light carbonated lager producing a soft top. Drunk it from the bottle but had some strange mouthfeel and resulting bitterness. Might be good for killing mice though.
