Nothing good about this beer. Small white head. Very clear yellow color, almost transparent. Piss appearance. Skunky aroma. Weak flavor even for a lager. It’s not bitter nor sweet, just watery. Thin body. A generic cheap south-american lager.

Bottle at the Brickskeller on 11-13-05. Straw yellow. Small white head. Nose is slightly grassy, bready and has a hint of buttered biscuit. Not nearly as dreadful as I thought. Taste is much grainier with lots of cereal, light corn, sweet malts, and a hint of grass. Body is light an fizzy. Finishes with more grainy notes and cereal. Light grass and buttery notes.

Strong, but very tasteful. An absolutely world class beer. My favourite, that should be imported to a lot more countries in the future.

What has Australia done to deserve this ghastly Bolivian import? Come on Bolivia, what have we ever done to you? Despite reading the other ratings here before tasting, I was still genuinely shocked at this. It doesn’t look that bad: pale straw colour, with a thick, lacing head. Nothing too awful about the aroma, either: a squeeze of lemon and some wet dog. But it tastes like a damp attic. Musty leather, mouldering cardboard boxes, the stumps of rotting root vegetables, my grandma’s spare room - this is so bad it’s fascinating. Can’t be this bad in Bolivia. Must have lost something in transit. Fetch me that Aventinus in the fridge - quick, it’s an emergency... (350ml bottle)

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2006 From the can, and possibly because I have just come back from a 2 hour walk it didn’t seem that bad. But it only takes a few moments to realise what you are actually drinking. Looks ok but it is a pale yellow and a nondescript nose adds to the disappointment of the experience. Come back next century to see what the next offering is like.

Another country and only 13 to go to equal Linc for this country. Well, if the quality of this beer is anything to go by I won’t be threatening soon. It looks thin and pale and the head insipid. Yellow colour seems to mean yellow flavour with a metallic afterburn. No other similarity with beer apart from the fact it says cerveza on the can.

Very decent lager from Bolivia. Nice balance of bitterness and soft grain. Not as skunky hops as most other pale lagers. If i was in Bolivia, i would drink this stuff.

Thanks to my sister for bringing this one home. Grainy aroma, not really great. Dull or boring is a good description. Pale yellow coloured with a lasting, thin white head. Taste is grainy, slightly hoppy, quite smooth. Perhaps a bit weak, but overall a very decent pilsener taste. Enjoyable.

Pale yellow straw colored with a thick white head. Light malty aroma with pilsener hops a little floral smell. Medium malty in the flavor with a bit of smoke flavor as well. Decent hop bitterness. Well carbonated. Not as bad as I expected. Somewhere above your run-of-the-mill American lager crap, but not by much.
