2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pint at the brewpub. pours copper with a white head. The aroma is not what Iíve come to expect from these Californian IPAís. This one smells like wet grain with sour bread and metallic notes. I get some grapefruit bite in the nose as well as the flavor. Itís bitter and grassy but also with a plastic twinge and some lactic stuff going on. Meh.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at PBAH. Pretty good IPA - fresh tasting and very piney/resinous hoppage. Nice flavor that leaves a floral resin on your palate for a while. Pours hazy golden amber with white head.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On-tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy, light amber with a moderate white head, specks of lace. Smells subdued, nice citrusy hoppy with a nice, balanced, malty backbone. Tastes pretty basic citrusy, piney and hoppy with a lingering earthy malt sweetness. Again with the dishwater, lots of lingering dishwater flavor. Medium body, good carbonation.
