A traditional Belgian Saison made with coriander, bitter orange, crystallized ginger and Hibiscus flowers. The finished beer has a complex floral aroma with a slight tartness from the Hibiscus flower and a refreshing light finish. Oh and it’s pink.

On tap. Pours with a lightly hazed orange to golden hued body with a retentive white head. Aromas are grainy, straw, light dried fruit, mild acidic, floral or funky a bit. Citrus peel, blood orange, ginger and medium phenol. Almost a bit vinous. Flavors show a bit of a soft funky quality, medium phenol, grainy, mild acidity, hibiscus, vinous, herbal, lightly citrusy. Lower carbonation that I would have liked to see, but otherwise quite a tasty beer.

Sampled at Bay Area night at Sunset Beer Co. Pours a pretty orange. Was expecting more of a hibiscus burst of flavor. Very subdued with some vanilla notes. Enjoyable.
