Commercial Description:
This beer is an India Pale Ale! It is the first commercially brewed beer in the country using Columbus hops. It is very hoppy, aromatic and quite strong. All hopheads will love it!

Tap @ brewpub: Clear gold with an off-white head and lacing everywhere. Aromas of sweet apricots and mild hops. Initially, an enjoyable hop bitterness, but something goes awry. And there goes another possibly good IPA down the toilet. It is funny I should mention toilet because the aftertaste reminds me of my days on the farm shoveling urine-soaked hay out of a stall for a cow that just gave birth.

Sampler at the Brew pub, 3/31/07. Cask and non cask version side by side. Pours yellow with a thin white head. Light hoppy aroma, taste has a nice hoppy bite. Decent IPA.

Amber ale with a thin white head. Very fragrant hops with light malt notes, pinhey. Good malt basre with peppery hops, lots of grapefruits, and medium bodied. Very nice. On tap, August 2005.

This pale ale poured with a very small head, eliciting a very hoppy aroma. The flavor is initially sweet with a long chalky finish that sticks to the tongue.

Draft. Light amber color with little head. Biterness shines through, but it’s a lighter body and a little too carbonated to really enjoy.
