355ml can pours a pale golden color with a small white head that leaves no lacing. Aroma is cereal grains and mild grassy hops. Taste is light fruit and malty sweetness with a mild grassy hop bitterness. Light body and little carbonation. Typical macro lager brew.

Can, as Pacific Western Pilsner
Yellow color. No aroma; light flavor, corn and paper, low bitterness. Quite bad.

Single can purchased from Boulder Creek Liqour Store in Revelstoke, BC on 08/31/2011. Colour: Medum-light yellow with minimal head. Nose: Basic yeast and wheat. Small vanilla trace. Taste: Medium-light sweet, light bitter, light sour. A buttery elemant that is actually nice. Very smooth. Still run-of-the-mill though.

Pours a clear yellow color with no aroma, maybe a slight corn smell. Taste is light and practically tasteless, its like drinking colored water.

great tasting pilsner. Golden in colour with nice crisp taste. Definitely worth a try and a great price.

Well, this looks like a big pile of crap, I wonder what’s inside? Poured from the suspiciously Corona-esque (there’s a great role model!) can, into my usual Maudite glass. Unsurprisingly the beer is pale gold, with little head retention, and poor lacing. Nose is green apples and clean grain. Honestly this defies my expectations, and smells not-terrible! So I am surprised so far, let’s go in for a taste: Damn that’s watery! Flavours of mineral water, sweet barley syrup, nothing really else. Profoundly dull, but not offensive.

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2011 If you want a lager to get drunk on, this is your best bet in BC. Nearly half the price of a sixer of the macro lagers and about half the chemical taste (though still enough, mind you). Best to enjoy on the beach in the summer - if the cops confiscate it then you only lose a few bucks

Overall pretty horrible. Had in a can. Aroma of flowery fruits and grain. Taste is boring and slightly offensive. A slight taste of malts and caramel.

Almost the cheapest beer I can buy in this province, but not the worst. Begins with a frothy white head of three or more fingers above a body of decent gold colour, sadly the aroma does not live up to the visuals. Somewhat flowery yet inoffensive, it is just not beerlike. Taste is acceptable given that this is a low-cost swill. Mouthfeel is not objectionable, and the aftertaste is indeed hinting at caramel. Cost-effective and quite suitable for chugging down a few coldies on a Friday but it does remind one that there is better to be had.

Terrible. This is total crap and I poured it...I didn’t even drink half of it...putrid. Wonderful bright yellow crap in my glass with too much of the unfiltered rubber gloves or whatever floating around. Some rocky white head that went to a skim. Standard ultra-low budget canned swill from Pacific Western...I will say that at least they are consistant at putting out endless brutal cheap beer. Not overly sweet, corn, dry, no skunk, apple and quite acrid albiet only temporarily. Taste is where this one really excels! BLECKX! Chemical, ick bitterness that might just be the chemicals, metallic..terrible. Vodka...cheap plastic bottled vodka. Has a god awful chemical residue that is everywhere in my mouth and noticable when I breathe out of my nose, over carbonated and slick. Just plain disgusting.
