BillKismet (1899), Seattle, Washington, USA Mar 31, 2008 Copper colored with a strong presence of hops and very light malting. Well crafted, though seems rather under-bodied to be 7.2%. Good finishing bitterness. riversideAK (2648), Shoreline, Washington, USA Dec 3, 2007 Caramel malts and toast in the nose, a little grain too, and earth too. Copper with a nice fluffy head. Not at all bitter, but some earthy hops make their presence known and goes nicely with the toasty malt. A little sweet chewy grain/dirt. An interesting IPA. Very tasty, and very easy to drink at 7.5%. after4ever (2711), Brier, Washington, USA Nov 10, 2007 Draft at the Pac Rim tasting room. This is the dry-hopped version. Dark coppery amber. Headless. Like to see some head on an IPA, but OK. Huge mango and peach nose. Big tingly medium body. Lots more mango and peach permeate the mid-palate, on top of a light caramel malt floor. Clean finish. Nice stuff for sure. Crit (2399), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Sep 24, 2007 Deep amber, creamy lasting beige head.Great malt nose, hint of citrus hops.Huge malt profile, too few late hops, but lasting.ESB? not IPA Feinschmecker (179), Seattle, Washington, USA Sep 4, 2007 Bottle.
A little darker than expected. A typical Northwest IPA, which is a good thing. One of Pacific Rim’s best. SuzyGreenberg (1318), Seattle, Washington, USA Aug 17, 2007 draft @ the taphouse grill - a nice looking IPA, but falls short in flavor and boldness; on their temporary rotation and don’t think it will be staying BückDich (4793), McCall, Idaho, USA Feb 11, 2007 Tap: Muddy brown color, nice head and lacing. Nose of husky malt, musky hops. The flavor is thick, rich and caramelly with earthy hops and malt. Clean finish. Not that bad, but dissipointing for a PNW IPA. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA Apr 4, 2006 This was a very good but very light style IPA. Full of fresh tasting hoppiness, lots of citrus, grapefruit and mixed with malty caramel and fresh bread. A perfect beer for a warm spring day/
