2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Better than their honey shit beer, because they left out the honey flavour. Has a metallic biscuit flavour, which is better than most lagers. Only drank to help my brother win a snowboard at the LC.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Taste has sweet malt up front, cornish sweetness, maybe a hint of honey, moving into grainy territory. Light malts in the finish, low to no bitterness here. Dry, just a bit of grain sweetness hanging on in the finish. not bad for a cheap beer.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Wow. Just wow, this is a fantastic beer! Some reasons below:
1- It’s cheap, however, maintains a higher quality than one would expect.
2- It’s slightly (by 1/2 percent) stronger than it’s competition so if you knit pick, then it really is a more economical buy than any other 5% beer at the same price or even slightly lower)
3- The best way to describe it’s taste is NOT "good" or "bad" or anything like that, I would say it is very palatable and it has an unique taste.
This beer is produced by Pacific west brewing company in Prince George, BC. They make another brand of beer (Pacific Pilsner) as I’m sure a few others, but compared to PP this is definitely distinct. It’s not simply a re-branded generic beer...
All I can say is, consider the price, the extra half percent, and buy it and try it and you’ll never want to buy anything else when you wanna drink on a budget!!!!

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
355 ml. can purchased in Ladysmith B.C. Pours dark yellow- almost orange. Head dissipates quickly. Metallic aroma with some hints of malt. Taste consists of malt, alcohol, grains, tin-metal, and some hints of caramel; heavily carbonated. Little to no hops. Nothing but notes of tin and a metallic taste on the palate. Horrible beer.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Very watery with a hint of alcohol. Also a great hint of black out due to unfiltered water added. Great price for the bums for a 5.5%

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear bright yellow, white foamy head fades quickly. Sweet corny grainy lager malt aroma and taste. Average carbonation, light bodied, low hopped. Crisp, clean and refreshing. Light bitter finish. A higher quality value priced industrial swill, which does actually sell quite well. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
355ml can pours straw color with a small white head that leaves no lacing. Aroma is cereal grains with some grassy hops. Taste is slightly metallic with malty sweetness and light grassy hop bitterness. A typical macro lager and not recommended.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
355ml can. Clear golden pour. Small creamy white cap which fades to a tight ring, no lace. Grainy nose. Taste has sweet malt up front, cornish sweetness, maybe a hint of honey, moving into grainy territory. Light malts in the finish, low to no bitterness here. Dry, just a bit of grain sweetness hanging on in the finish. Typical pale lager mouthfeel with a light body and strong carbonation. Alright for a swiller, was expecting a lot worse but this was totally drinkable and not really that offensive. Would rank this with Molson Old Syle Pilsner or Olympia as a go to swill.
