almost no aroma; weak yellow with a thin white head; bitter at the start, with a weak but not too unpleasant finish

This smells a wicked lot like lime. It's wet and slightly refreshing but very little taste.

Bottle: Light golden colour, watery, stale; flavoured water. Your average mexican brew.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma is nothing special. The appearance is golden and classy looking (as opposed to cheap). A good amount of head for an American/Mexican typical beer. Taste is nice and crisp. Not much lasting quality to it though. By far one the best mexican beers.

Bottled. Shit, help me. I’ve taken a big wrong turn somewhere. If this beer was meant to be drunk at all, it would be whilst looking out over surf, sea and sand, not in a wet and cold big city like the one I’m in right now. Flat looking gold with just the slightest of heads struggling up. I shouldn’t be too critical, the beer has probably been through hell to get here. Nasty corn like aroma with an even cheaper taste. The palate….well that’s best forgotten. I’ll be fare to this beer and make sure I give it another go when I’m next in the correct surrounds and its available but for now this is the score it gets.

There isn't much to chose from when drinking south of the border. This one ranked amongst the best of the few I tried. A yellowy beer with an almost non existent aroma. Very light on the flavors (mostly malt) and well carbonated. One of the better choices in Cabo when spending the afternoon by the hotel pool.

Ok bought in the 12 oz brown long neck
Pretty lackluster looking brew indeed..urine yellow with a tiny fizzy head that dissapears..just like a soda.
Aroma is quite weak..chemical type smell..may be the hops though..
Taste is like what i imagine Corona tastes like when not totally skunked..light malts a hint of hops and a bunch of fizz.
Not great for me on the palate..way too carbonated.
Its drinkable if ice cold..its better than Corona..thats as good as this beer gets.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Thin head with little carbonation. Aroma dominated by malt and not much else. Color is a light to medium pale gold. Flavor is very thin but slightly sweet with more malts. Finish is clean and zippy (fizzy) with not much going for it. Better than Corona? Thats not saying much.

Well I agree with the rating given by wulfhere. Better than Corona, but it is for the most part the same beer, with just a better taste. Not the best, but I was given a deal at my work for a six pack of this for a dollar. So hey nothing lossed on this one for me.

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2003 Golden color not unlike most other Mexican beers. I personally order this over Corona. Tastes of corn and not much else. A good beer to drink when it's 90 degrees with 90% humidity during a Georgia August.
