Good looking beer with typical Pilsner characteristics. Better than Corona, but heemer's got it right about there being better beer in Mexico. Still better than most U.S. macros.

Slightly darker than most macro lagers. Hasa little skunk and some hops. I think people enjoy this most when they have it in Mexico. Better than Corona, but not even close to the best Mexican lagers.

Dark yellow, slim head. Oily, citrus aroma. Grainy, bready flavor, slight hop presence. Kind of watery. Basically inoffensive in every way.

This is not a sophisticated beverage. It is not a heavy beverage. I am rating this beverage as the whole experience I take in when it is served me (with a lime). punkeedo was quite right when he said this beer is four times better with a lime in it. A lime is a must. However, the best Mexican beer I have had is not Pacifico, but Negra Modelo. The thing is that because of the heftiness of Negra Modelo I often find myself having a Pacifico instead. I can drink more of them, which is good for people like me, orally-centred people who enjoy the actual physical act of drinking (especially beer).

Best mexican beer I've had. Was a bit yellowish. Tastes 4 times better with the lime.

UPDATED: JAN 19, 2004 When you have to drink a mexican beer...this is the one. Great on a beach in the blistering sun especially with lime.

No wonder they put limes in these things. I like lime. I say forget about spending money on a bottle of this, buy a bottle of evian and stick a lime in that. Better yet, take an empty Pacifico bottle, fill IT with H2O, chuck a lime in it and people will think you're drinking a cool "Mexican" beer at the club and only you'll know you're too smart for that. Ick. Yellow, bubbly, maybe a hint of malt. Better than Corona.

This stuff is at every eatery in San Diego. Pours gold and clear. Aroma is light. Flavor is slightly citrusy. Refreshing but little else.

almost no aroma; weak yellow with a thin white head; bitter at the start, with a weak but not too unpleasant finish
