Pacifico, a pilsener type beer, dates back to the beginning of 1900’s. Since 1985, Pacífico has been exported mainly to the West Coast of USA, where it has gained strong recognition.

One of the better Mexican beers out of the whole list of nasty crap. Flavor tastes a little grainy and of wheat but not much. Bought this shit again because it was on sale $8.99 a 12 pack. I heard in some parts of Mexico along the Pacific ocean this is the only beer sold in the whole city.

Didn’t do much for me. Yellow color no head stale odor. Well if you want another rating buy this one.

The colder the better and served in a frosty mug, where it partially freezes the beer, because basically this is an efficient alcohol delivery system and taste, color, and aroma would just slow it down...

served in a restaurant atmosphere where grilling tortillas and chiles and various animal parts were gurgling in non-discript goos of cheese and beans and gobs of green lettuce. the bottle was plugged with a wedge of lime, and came with a mug that had had it’s animation suspended by a long exile in a deep freeze-- the frozen mug exuded icy water like the fur of a harbor seal. the beer too, was just short of producing ice chunks. it’s a desparately thin yellow-- like a raincoat colored balloon stretched to near transparency. the head had a half-life measured in seconds. it was about as aromatic as my burps from a beer i had last night. what i’ll always remember about pacifico was, was... uh. well, something. oh, yeah-- it was cold! and carbonated. actually it has a bit more malt character than carta blanca, which is like saying a nickel is worth more than four cents. then suddenly came a huge jolt of alcohol, not well hidden. wait, that was a shot of tequila. pacifico has a touch of light cereal-- not enough to nourish a gerbil-- and very little bitterness. compared to rubbing habanero sauce in your eye, however, it’s pure joy.

strange malty aroma smelt a little like dirty old beer that someone ashed a cigarette into. not entirly bad, but this beer was mainly corn malts. very watery and a strange yellow color.

UPDATED: MAR 28, 2005 Bottle poured yellow with no head or lacing but lots of carbonation. Aroma of light sweet corn. Body is watery light corn flavor, not much there, would go better with a lemon or lime. Dull.

I have yet to taste a good beer from central America. But, this beer is the best of the lot. It is richer (I hate to use the word here) in taste than Corona ,Sol, etc. I can also detect more hop flavor here. It is kind of light but it does have a bitter aftertaste. Still its the best of its class to go along with Mexican food.

Poured clear gold color with hardly any head at all. Very thin fizzy body. Easy drinking for light beer drinkers that’s about it though.

Medium gold color, minimal head and a nice beery aroma. Light bodied and malty with a honeylike sweetness and a pretty fair hoppy bitterness that developed into the finish. Fairly hoppy for the style and although it seemed to have a faint cardboard note in there somewhere it was easily better than its stablemate Corona.
