Pacifico, a pilsener type beer, dates back to the beginning of 1900’s. Since 1985, Pacífico has been exported mainly to the West Coast of USA, where it has gained strong recognition.

I have shyed away from the Mecican brews at the GF liquor store just because i know they have a rep.of being bad. This one was maybe a slight better then i was expecting.Nice golden color, small fast fading head.Aroma of light malt mabe some lemon or lemon grass and a little sweet. The taste was decent with a nice light malt flavor and mild fruit, with a decent but light showing of hops. Not bad but it could use some help.I guess it would probably go good on a hot summer day.

UPDATED: APR 8, 2004 Pours very light with white bubbly head. Extremly carbonated and finishes very crisp. Not a whole lot going on as far as aroma texture etc... Very comparable to corona. Not bad but nothing special.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2006 Pours a nice clear golden color with a minimal white head. Smells of light hops and sweet corn. Taste is smooth and flavorful ... tasty. One of the better Mexican beers. Better than Corona, for sure ... maybe on a par with Dos Equis, only lighter in color and body. Not bad at all.

bottled: we have all tried this. one step up from corona. crisp and clean beer. probably lots of adjuncts here...corn would be my best guess. good with spicy mexican food. but not good without. go with a negra modelo or dos equis amber if you must.

Crystal clear straw body topped with minimal white head. Aroma is medium sweet, corn/grassy, light fruity. Taste is fairly flavorful, medium sweet, corn-softened grassy, light lime. Cuts the spice of my Mexican food nicely. Light body.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2008 One of the best Mexican beers I’ve ever had. Great labeling, great taste, like everything about it. I don’t know what it is about this beer, everything about it screams "crappy beer, just forget about it" but I just can’t seem to dislike pacifico. I will certainly attempt to figure this out.

The proper pronunciation comes from Lorenzo Fortunato who always called this "pacheapeeko". Really not as bad as it's been made out to be by some. Certainly not great either. Tastes good when free.

Light head, light in color. Not a ton of aroma. I just can't get past that fresh cut lawn flavor.

Pale golden color and white head. Not much aroma. Some malts and lightly bitter finish. Decent Mexican lager.

A light amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of black currants. The flavor is malty and the hops prickles the tongue. The palate is thin.
