Pacifico, a pilsener type beer, dates back to the beginning of 1900’s. Since 1985, Pacífico has been exported mainly to the West Coast of USA, where it has gained strong recognition.

My new preferred Mexican pale lager! I found this mexi-macrobrew to be surprisingly enjoyable, nothing too sophisticated of course but for the style a very pleasant and refreshing beer. Having sampled this both on tap and from the bottle, Pacifico struck me as being more full-bodied than most other similar beers and had a fresh and flavorful sweet pale malty flavor. Although I'm sure there's corny adjuncts present, I didn't really notice them. Not much hoppiness, maybe a faint generic bitterness, but a refreshing simple pale malt lager. The aroma is fruity sweet grain and the appearance is clear golden and average white head. Paired great with some guacamole. Smooth and just tastes like a solid lager.

Typical translucent golden lager appearance with perhaps fewer bubbles than usual. No head. Aroma contains crisp grain and honey. Smooth, refreshing, thin and simple akin to every other pale lager, yet not terrible. The flavour is simply honey, malt and grain and dissipates immediately, but there is no revolting aftertaste. Thus, it supplants many other macros in my opinion.
