1.4 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
On tap at Killarneys Huntington Beach. Pours a pale yellow/orange color, little in terms of aroma or taste outside the standard Mexi lager. Corn and malt, with overtones, undertones of water and boredom.

Bottle while bowling. I had low expectations but this exceeded them slightly. Sweetness that was balanced well.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
It's a cerveza. It's nice and it was right hot when I had it. Refreshing, if a little bland. No aroma to speak of and light bodied.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Golden coloured beer with a medium white head. Aroma is corn and water. The flavor is malt with some light hop bitterness. Light palate. Not different from any other watery, light mexican beer.

Not much different from other Mexican pale lagers. Notes of grass and grain. Bright golden with a white fizz. Balanced. Dry and light.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
On tap in New York. Pours a pale yellow color, little in terms of aroma or taste, other than some corn and cereal. Watery, with a cardboard flavor and texture. Palate is weak.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Piss gold body; a swirl summons some white head. Sweet, bready malts and creamed corn aroma. Too sweet, really.
Taste follows suit: hearty malt and adjunct sweetness dominate the profile. Hops are completely absent. Pretty far off for a Pils, yet settles reasonably into its own little style. Body is thicker than expected while retaining just the right amount of carb. Off, again, but once more it kinda works.
Still quite far from being objectively good, though I can see myself reaching for one of these at the beach and being (reasonably) happy. Add some hops, remove the corn, and you might have a real winner.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz bottle. No head, clear, no lacing. OK light taste, nothing offensive, but I forgot I was drinking a beer it’s so light. It’s a one-trick pony, and its trick isn’t very good. Maybe with food. Don’t think you’re getting anything exotic here.

1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pours a clear pale golden color with a thin fizzy white head that fades quickly. Aroma of sweet grainy malts. The taste is grainy malts with a grassy finish.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
A pale lager from Mexico. Pours light yellow, not much head. Aroma of light toasty malt is encouraging but there is almost no malt or hop flavor. Almost no flavor at all.
