1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Poured out of bottle into a pint glass. Almost no color in the pour, just the slightest yellow. A nice finger of white head formed but quickly dissipated to nothing.
No real beer smell. There is a mild smell of cleaning supply and cement.
Tastes like corn (w/o butter) and seltzer water.
Smooth feeling, low carbonation and goes down easy.
It had potential to at least look good until the head retreated into nothing. It does not taste like anything so it is not technically "undrinkable" but it really just tastes like water. Maybe fill a waterbottle up for a bike ride to keep hydrated. But as a beer it really fails.

Decent Mexican beer. Went great with Mexican food. Would drink this one over many of the others.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
On tap at Refinery Rooftop, NY. I believed this to be a west coast delicacy... instead it’s a crappy adjunct lager. Pale color, no head, average carbonation. Grains and paper, flat taste, dusty unrefined finish. For $8 a glass this is one of the worst value i’ve ever had.

0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Spanish import bottle from Au Palais de la Biere, Aux-les-Bains, France courtesy of Andy. Pours a very pale gold colour with virtually no head. Aroma of maize, malt and damp. Medium sweetness with slight bitterness. Light body, thin texture, average to flat carbonation. Not very nice at all, didn’t finish it.

Bottle at a Mexican restaurant, Jerez, 4.3.2015. Clear gold. Generic lager aroma with some grass and some corn. Sweetish taste, a little corny and mildly bitter. Light body, fairly carbonated, mild, bitter finish.

0.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
A man walks into Mexican restaurant and asks for a beer. And here it is, Mexico’s version of Bud. Thin and watery, the body consists of lots of large soda pop bubbles. Pale straw color and very clear. No head and, of course, no lace at all. The smell was similar: nothing notable other than light malt and adjuncts.
Bottom line: Flavorless lawn mower beer.A man walks into Mexican restaurant and asks for a beer. And here it is, Mexico’s version of Bud.
