COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A prototype IPA which features a huge malt profile from Maris Otter malt as a backbone, and massive amounts of Cascade & Amarillo hops. The hop flavour and aroma are huge as well as the hop bite. This is not a beer for those afraid of character.

355mL thanks to my big sister Jenn! Clear, deep amber pour. Smaller, sheen, buttermilk head. Nose is toffee and maple. Taste is very soapy, small maple and toffee. Chalky, minerally palate. Soapy, nutty finish.

This is a decent IPA. Looks, smells, and tastes good, but nothing super special.

WheatKing (1287) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 8, 2012
Sampled at the GCBF. Quite hazy, nose has no bitterness or tartness whatsover, only sweet tangerine and malt. Flavour is a tad more bitter and the fruit comes through. A very average IPA, offers nothing special; if you take the average balance of bittering and aroma hops, this is slightly tipped toward bittering, but itís not particularly strong.

Appreciator (26) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 11, 2012
Pours a hazy burnt range with a off white/tan mostly remaining medium sized head. Inviting aroma with a medium intensity. Sweet, bitter, earthy, floral aromas. Medium in itís intensity, and aftertaste. Has a coarse coarse quality to it. Creamy round texture with a bitter, hop, malty taste. Rich well-balanced quality. Appreciated.

Pours hazy roange with nice long lasting head. First aroma is skunk, but opens up more with notes of honey and sweet clementines. Citrus on the palate..some sweetness balanced nicely with a hoppy finish. Very enjoyable ipa.

An attractive amber colour with nice lacing. Malty, wet wood, with a touch of hops on the aroma. Flavour is nicely balanced..definitely a British style IPA, not crazy bitter, some nice malts in here. Soft creamy finish. Very enjoyable.

Bottle, 341ml at Finn McCool Pub in Toronto. Light aroma of caramel and possibly citrus hidden i there. Pale amber robe, light neck, this beer creates almost no froth when poored. Medium bitterness, medium carbonation, light sour taste. Feels light body, short and astringent finish.

2012-01-06. Crisp dark amber body with a nice beige head and lace. 3+ Modest green hoppy character, muted malt. 6+ Flavour is similar, modest green hops, light bitterness, malty core. 6+ Average plus palate. Okay, possibly not at its freshest, the hops were not as assertive as expected. Bottle at Burger Bar, Toronto
