341ml bottle listed at 4.8%ABV on the bottle pours a clear golden color with a finger of white head that leaves a few spots of lacing. Aroma is light grainy malts with some grassy hops. Taste is light malty sweetness with a lingering hop bitterness which is quite pleasing. Light body and decent carbonation. This is a pretty decent pilsner which was quite enjoyable.

This is probably my favourite Paddock Wood beer despite the fact that I generally don’t love the style. Pours a clear golden with a little fluffy head. Aroma is a of citrus, smells really sweet. The taste is quite sweet with almost the flavours of honey and lemon. For me, this is my go to lawnmower beer in the summer.

355mL bottle, BS sixer. Can’t believe I found one less than 17 months past its expiry date! Pours a nice pale gold with a small white head. The aroma is pretty good, faded Saaz hops, dry and dusty with some decent pils malts in the background. Flavour features Saaz upfront, met with some sweet malts and a mildly peppery finish. Feels light but not too carbonated, which I appreciated. If I could get this fresh I would prefer it to King Brewery’s Pilsener. Decent rendition of the Czech pils variety. I should get out to Saskatoon sometime.

Single bottle purchased from Zyn Liqour in Calgary, AB on 11/06/2011. Colour: Medium yellow with hints of green and low white head. Nose: Surprisinly flowery, accompanying pine needles, sweet malt. Taste: Medium sweet, medium-light bitter, medium sour. A sweet blast then settles into growing sour barley that acts astringent and long on the finish. Not as complex as I’d hoped but quite drinkable.

Pours a rich gold. Fairly carbonated from the bottle. Grassy, peppery, crabapple aroma. Flavourful pils. Hoppy, more of that grassy sour apple, bready. Hops linger. Fairly bold pilsner. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lubiere (9728) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 28, 2011
A lightly hazed blonde pils with a thick receding off white head, lightly lacing. In aroma, fresh grainy malt with faint Czech hopping. In mouth, a smooth clean crisp biscuit malt with grassy Czech hops, lightly lingering. This one was from Piscator (Dec 2009) and, although its attenuated, its still not too bad.

Big czech hop aroma, light grass, and some good bready malts. Soft carb, good dose of czech hops in the flavor. The finish is crisp, and dry. A really decent pils, ilike the up front hops, not over powering, just perfect.

355 ml bottle from Beer Boutique (Beer Store). Pours a clear golden yellow with small white head. Aroma is nicely floral with light citrus and grass. Taste is floral/fruity with modest lemon flavour and some grassy bitterness. Mild carbonation; surprisingly astringent. Decent.

Bottle [355ml] shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- c/o garthicus. Pours a clear pale gold with an average size semi-lasting fluffy white head. Aroma is slightly sweet along with a good amount of Czech hops along with some notes of honey and fruit. Flavour of Czech hops, honey, apple or some other fruit and some floral notes. Average to medium bodied. Pretty good, I liked it.

341ml bottle shared by garthicus with me and blankboy. Slightly hazy light gold with a smallish frothy/creamy white head. Pleasant, slightly sweet aroma - grassy bitterness balanced against light honey; hint of apple. Taste follows, definite winesap sweetness, even more grassy bitterness - very fresh tasting, well done. Light body, light astringency, decent carbonation, and nice balanced grassy/fruity finish and linger. Solid stuff, quite different.
