341mL bottle from the Paddock Wood Big Box. Clear amber/toffee coloured pour with a bubbly white head. Aroma has a hint of malty sweetness, and a strong citrus/floral hoppy aroma. Medium carbonation. Bubbly, dry mouthfeel, medium-bodied. Light bitterness in the finish, quite smooth. Nice full bodied oktoberfest beer.

355ml brown bottle. Orange colour, a bit hazy. Thin white cap, not much lace. Nose is toasty, mild chocolate malt hint as well. Taste is toasty and grainy with some grassy hops. Noble hop in the aftertaste, some caramel malts and some bitterness. Decent oktoberfest.

Poured from 355mL bottle. Pours clear copper brown with dissipating off-white head. Malty with very strong caramel and brown sugar notes. Bitter malt taste with slight sweetness. A little watery with some minor burn.

Pours a clear red car with a big off white head that dissipates quickly and leaves little lace. Smells of vienna malts, some caramel and a hint of spice. Taste is very bready and malty up front and finishes with some hoppy/spiceyness. Would like it to have more bite on the end.

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2012 Pours a darker reddish brown with minimal head but an awesome white lace. I get a sweet malty, and maybe some brown sugar aromas. Taste is a well balanced malty sweetness and light bitterness and small amounts of piney notes. Great easy drinking beer with a slightly higher than average abv. Nicely done PW.

Powertrip (999) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 27, 2012
Single botte purchased from Zyn Liqour in Calgary, AB on 07/06/2012. Colour: Definitely a cotton candy like redness...maybe even some pink, among dominant orange. Little to no head. Nose: Strong bag of wet grains mixed with an assortment of green vegetables. Further scents of raw tomato appear. Taste: Medium-light sweet, medium bitter, medium sour. Highly roasted malt, barley and hops. Very cooked taste but not to the point of offsensive. A salty note too. Long bitterness and roasting through finish.

Bottle - 341ml. Hazy amber body with a thin white foamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with brown sugar hints. Well balanced taste carries piney notes. Ends with a short bittersweet finish. Not bad.

Red amber with foamy off white head. Aroma is sweet caramel and roast malt. Pretty malt heavy amber with a bit of hops in the back. Burnt sugar and roast grain. Nice!
