3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle purchased from the brewery in February 2012. Pours amber/orange with a surprisingly lasting white head. Aromas of not much, maybe some cereal and malt. Taste is malty, somewhat sweet but very nice. A bit of a soft caramel aftertaste I think. Really good plain lager.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle shared by CapFlu. Warm gold, clear, not yielding much head. Sweet malty aroma has some apples. Soft palate and is fairly flat. A bit syrupy, has some toffee notes, sweet caramelly malt character reminds me of a Granville Island lager.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Botlle. Dark amber with a thin almost soapy foam. Attractive grain aroma fairly strong for a standard lager. Big mouth prescence and flavour. Big toasted whole wheat flavour. Pitcher beer for the Olympic hockey games perhaps?

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(Bottle) Courtesy of my mother-in-law. Pours a medium, white frothy head with a slightly deeper orange amber body - than you’d think from a Pale Lager. Nose is mildly berry, sweet and bready - like a Marzen-Lite. The flavours are very very crisp with grain, corn and caramel mingling with bright hops and leafy tones. Very enjoyable. Gotta love this prairie oasis! Excellent.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: OCT 24, 2009 Pours a very clear deep golden color, medium carbonation rate and a thin, filmy white head. Aroma is awesome! A very full base malt sweetness, a light toasted malt note, a spicy but very strongly sweet floral hops note with a very unique and hard to place smell. It has a strong floral nectar sweetness to it maybe even mango fruitiness. Flavor has a very nice toasted note, strong sweet note to it overall, a mango bubble gum flavor and its very dry at the end. A very smooth, lightly chewy feeling to the brew. Overall this beer was one of their best beers with every component working in unison to really deliver a truly unique and enjoyable beer! Organic brews have never really done much for me but if they tasted like this, then it would definitely change my mind. I hope to get a hold of this one again in the not too distant future. NOTE: The key to the flavors of this brew (more so than others) is to allow it to warm up, as the flavors really come about once its a bit warmer.
