2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 andrewturba (448) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 22, 2013
Pours a mostly clear golden-amber colour with a small white spotty cover and a decent ring around the glass leaving very little lace. Aromas are fruity and floral mostly, booze, light spice and yeast. Flavours of a lot of booze up front, spice, fruit, somewhat sweet, yeast. Alcohol is hot which is unacceptable here.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Reimer96 (584) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 20, 2013
Pours a hazy golden color with a small white fizzy head. Aroma of fruity esthers, some spice & alcohol. Taste is some fruity sweetness, fruit and too much alcohol. Mouthfeel has too much of a hot alcohol taste and little creaminess.

Thanks to Reimer for this. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white ring. Aroma is light bready malts and a dry yeast. Taste is dry yeast with bready malts. Mouthfeel is thin and not a carbonated or as "full" as I’d expect from a tripel.

Bottle. Hazy deep golden, lasting white head. Pale cereal malts are leavened by flavours of pineapple, quince, light spice, and balanced by a rather assertive bitterness. I enjoyed it, although as I’ve said many times, I tend to enjoy tripels more when they don’t really fit the style!
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 Narnad (1340) - Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA - AUG 1, 2012
Pours a very lightly hazed orange color with a strong carbonation rate to retain the dense white head. Aroma has a good fruitiness with notes of apple, very light cherry and grape with notes of anise late in the nose. Flavor has an apple and cherry fruitiness with some light spicy clove late in the flavor. The alcohol is completely hidden in this brew. Body was light with solid fizzy feeling from the carbonation. Overall a tasty brew. Everything is well balanced in this brew.

Note: 6/10

Sherbrooke liquor store Silenus :

pretty weak ass triple. Some orange and grains of paradise, but clearly a beer on training wheels. A good stepping stone triple.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver Golden color, clear; creamy head. Aroma of malt, sweetish, with a light fruity note. Good body, with pleasant, sweetish malt flavor; there is a light fruity touch, a pleasant note of cereals, and a quite bold bitterness. Another American Abbey Ale, with very little Belgium in it, but at least better than the average.

Pours slightly orange almost no head. Smells like wheat and belgian yeast. Slightly grassy. It tastes very bad. it tastes like burning paper, the heavily died kind they put in magazines. This is terrible!!!!!
