3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thin white foamy was atop a clear deep golden body. Nose of fig and rubbing alcohol. Fruity flavour of fig and honey. Getting the clover in the finish. Overall... Interesting.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
An interesting interpretation of the style. A very malty (rye bread), full-bodied beer with a clove and pepper-hopped balance. The alcohol was warm and soothing, but not hot; very pleasant and enjoyable. The aroma was the malt with apricot and alcohol. The appearance was golden, slightly hazy with a large frothy white head that persisted throughout the drink. Very well done!!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a very bubbly, crystal clear orange color with a thick white, frothy head that sticks to the glass and last forever. Aroma is a very strong apple, light tart cherry, pear, grape and flowery finish with some light malt sweetness at the very tail end. Flavor starts off with apple, grape and some light cherry notes with slightly grassy hoppy middle and a stronger alcoholic bite at the finish. Body is full with a very crisp and highly carbonated feel too it. Overall a pretty good brew. This was drank at a much more elevated temperature than normal (70 degree F as it had popped open in the trunk of my car). Well balanced, no flavors stood out too prominently. I suspect the alcohol would of been quite a bit more tempered if the beer was cooler. Another solid, enjoyable brew by Paddock Wood.
