On tap at the Wolfville brewpub. Pours a near black dark brown with average-sized tan head. Aroma is roasty malt with fruit. Flavour is roasty/fruity malt. Surprisingly thin. A rather weak stout.

16oz draft in pint glass at Wolfville Paddys. Poured jet black with a mocha head which stuck around in some capacity for the duration. Bit of a fruity nose. Creamy texture on the palate, but a bit of a sour taste and rather unhappy on the backend (almost like a tire?)

Lubiere (10139) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 19, 2009
A ddep dark stout with a thick stable moka head. A strange herbal butterscotch and chocolate aroma, with wet dough. In mouth, a nice light stout with roasted coffee notes, some butterscotch notes, light nougat, a bit infected. On tap at brewpub, Oct. 10 2009.

On tap at the Kentville Paddys. Deep amber /mahogany colour with a cream head. Smooth chocolate malty flavour, a tad bit sour. Hints of fruit. Smooth all together. Not the greatest.

[1839-20081102] Tap. Mild roastiness aroma. Clear, dark dark brown body with a big long-lasting creamy light tan head and thick lacing. Sweet roasty malt finish in initially fruity plums. Medium-full body has a strange fruity feel. Fair.

Opaque black with thick tan head and lacing, possibly a nitro tap. Buttery aroma, sadly. Very low carbonation. Velvety. Smooth and creamy. Thin body. Hardly any flavor but the buttery diacetyl and hint of chocolate malt.

Black body, moderate khaki head. (3+) Sweet malty aroma, roasty dark chocolate. Pleasant mild roasty chocolate flavour, touch watery at times but pleasant. Nitro creaminess on the palate I think. Adequate.

Pours a black color with brown highlights and a thin creamy light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor of roasted malt and chocolate, the flavor lacks intensity. Light to medium body, soft carbonation.

I had one called Shamrock Stout, but it's still an Irish stout from Paddy's so I'll run with it. Dark brown colour, nitro head. Coffeeish aroma with a hint of cream. Thinnish, slightly fizzy body. This tastes of weak coffee and slightly leafy hop.

OKBeer (1171) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - JUL 18, 2003
UPDATED: JUL 7, 2004 Black with a thick lasting creamy tan head. Light roasted coffee and caramel aroma. Full bodied and warming with plenty of roasted character in the flavours, accompanied by coffee, chocolate and a touch of caramel.
RE-RATE (11/05/03): Good, but straightforward. A little less body to this one than I originally thought - typical nitrogen tap mouthfeel.
