2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Lowenbrau (1002) - Asturias, Oviedo, SPAIN - MAR 2, 2013
330ml bottle. Corn and diacetil aromas. Pours golden, clear, average white head. Crispy, light bodied, high carbonation. Taste is kind of sweet. I think diacetils are acceptable and even appreciated for certain styles, but not for a pilsener.

Bottle. Clear golden pour. Aroma is grainy, some corn and with some crispy hops. Flavor is quite bitter, slightly spicy hops, which is good, and some corny sweetness, which is bad. Still an above-average pilsener.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 teddybeer (1484) - Madrid, SPAIN - SEP 23, 2011
Bottle 33cl. Murky yellow with white head. Aroma to fresh malt and a few herbal. Appearance could be better for an unfiltered beer; any way, it’s good to see the yeast floating in the beer. Taste yeasty with oleic final, light hopped.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 FatPhil (7498) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - APR 23, 2011
330ml bottle - shared by estpivo - thanks!
5- Sticky grainy bready aroma, sweetish and a bit heavy
2 Bright yellow, large brief head
5+ Full grainy taste, less bready than aroma. Resiny sticky hops too.
3 Full palate, crisp carbonation. Finish quite hoppy - fruity and sticky.
10 Fairly simple pils, a little sticky, but certainly not lacking flavour.
