Bottle: Dark black color, tan head. Nose of rich roasty chocolate and sharp skunky hops. The heinekken of stouts it seems. Nice plum and sweet cocoa flavors and a rich mouthfeel, but that skunky note is hard to kick.

Sep 14, 2008 Bottle from the porterhouse at home. Aroma is chocolaty roasted malt, biscuity malt. Taste is similar, not too much going on but quite drinkable. Reminds me of some czech darker beers.

Jul 22, 2008 Black with no head served in a Afligem chalice at porterhouse. What can you say... Sweet aroma with roasted malt,ripe dark fruits,caramel and mild chocolate notes.

Jul 3, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a redish glare and a lacing tan head. Solid roasted malt aroma, mild chocolate note. Flavour is hardroasted malt, solid acidic note lurking out from the roasted flavours. Vague chocolate smoothness. Ends dry and acidic roasted.
