3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had this when I visited the cool little brewery. Pours hazy brown with orange hues and a decent orange head. Nose is cinnamon apple, bananas, caramel, and some grassy piney notes. Taste is well balanced bittersweet from start to finish. Mouthfeel is crisp and clean, body is medium to heavy and the finish is long. Good example of a red.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap @ brewery. Reddish amber copper with a leafy hop pretty prominent on the nose, caramalt not too far behind. Slight perfumeyness. Intriguing aroma. Taste was very complex. Starts leafy floral hoppy, but in the middle its an explosion of lots of different malts--pale, munich, toffee, biscuit...lovely complexity. Also balanced with gentle bitterness at the end. Very creamy texture, with loads of flavor on a medium-full body

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the brewery. Great hop aroma. Hazy orange with white collar and susting acorss top. Great floral and citrus with nice, round breadhy mouthfeel. The malt also shows a nice backbone. Very good red, and really enjoy the extra hop.
