Palisade Imperial Stout

on tap-pours a rich retaining brown head and black color. Aroma is dark malt-licorice. Taste is rich, sweet dark malt-licorice/molasses, slight hops bite, alcohol. Nice.

On tap @ Palisade brewing poured an opaque black with a lasting brown head. Aromas of bitter chocolate, roastiness, vanilla, light coffee and a hint of licorice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of chocolate, roastiness and vanilla with a smooth lingering finish.
