Jul 9, 2008 Courtesy of arcdz. Hazy amber body with a medium off-white head. The nose pine, apricot, grapefruit and cotton candy. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter with cotton candy, honey, grapefruit, pine and herbs. Medium/full body is round with light carbonation.

May 15, 2008 Toasty and creamy. Almost nutty and almost hairy (in the pleasing and elusive way some ales like Fort Collins Rocky Mountain IPA or GL’s Moondog or E. Ness) manage to combine their hops) It just doesn’t get pulled off and, disturbingly, some sips give me this creepy faint smell and taste of vomit. I do not recall that ever in a brew and I feel fine so it IS the brew.

May 5, 2008 12 oz. bottle, from Dean at SD BrewCo, courtesy of David, GABC keg master. Pours deep hazy copper color with lots of sediment and a small beige head. Fruity, toasty, earthy aroma with a hint of must, tart cherry, florals and a bit of coffee - this is a really interesting IPA. Toasty, earthy malts, with a bit of burnt caramel, some prune notes, more florals, light citrus and bitter herbs. Medium to medium-full body, minimally tingly.

Oct 29, 2007 Draught. Pours clear tawny with an average, frothy, light brown head, lasting with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, grain), heavy hops (perfume, pine), average yeast (dough) with notes of pear and peach. Medium bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity and bitterness.

Oct 25, 2007 Incredible beer when done right. A victim of over sampling. Better when unfiltered and dry-hopped. Occasionally too dry but definetly the most balanced IPA I’ve ever had. Nice malt, nice hops.

Jul 26, 2007 Bottle, courtesy the Grand Junction relatives. Bright citrus hops on the nose, with some sharp pine notes underneath. Flavor was nicely hoppy, lively and crisp, with a nice bitter finish. Tasty stuff.

Jun 4, 2007 On tap @ Palisade Brewery poured a clear copper with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness and light citrus and floral hop notes. Palate waslight bodied smooth and slightly dry. Flavors of carmel, earthiness and a hint of grapefruit rind with a smooth bitter finish.

Oct 29, 2006 on tap-pours a light tan head with a hazy copper color. Aroma is citrus hops. Taste is citrus hops, medium malt-sweet. Good carbonation.
