3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Amber tocopper in color with a big bubbly head, yellow/tan in color. Grapefruit and sweet dough aroma. Medium near oily feel. Raw hops hit from the start. With light pine and sharp citrus components. Finish finds some malt and helps me enjoy this one a touch more. More of an APA/ American IPA as Ernest calls it.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
It has a good head with small amounts of floral hops on the nose. The mouth feel is medium to light. The flavor is a bit bitter with small amount of sweetness followed by a light floral dry hop. That rounds out to a round finish

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Brennanís Country Farm Market in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear golden amber colored brew with a decent white head that has some excellent retention and lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and citrus zest, some light spruce, multi-grain malt and a hint of biscuit. Taste is medium bodied with flavors of grapefruit, toasted biscuity malt, some pine and a hint of tart berries. Finish is semi-dry with a metallic grapefruit and Cascade-ish hop aftertaste that slowly disappears.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. Cloudy orange amber with medium white head that lasts though the whole brew. Aroma of grass and resin hops along with obvious caramel malts, slightly sweet smelling. Taste is semi-sweet with lots of hop flavor though has more malt character than most IPAs, which makes this brew somewhat unique and fun to drink.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared by acrdz/mj on 7/10/08: Pours a transparent orange bronze with a thin spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of some toasty caramel malt and mild grapefruity hops with a hint of tartness. Body starts fairly full and semi-sweet with good bitterness and grapefruity flavor hops before a drier, bittersweet finish. Needs more assertive fresh hoppiness.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
My head overfloweth! This beer is seriously frothy... be careful pouring it! It has a nice, amber-red color, a fruity aroma, and light hop/fruit flavor. I wouldnít have guessed this was an IPA had I not known beforehand. The sweetness/fruit is a bit too much if youíre expecting an IPA. If not, be ready for a sweet beer and youíll enjoy it. I only had a 3oz sample, with fussy baby in hand, so Red Truck didnít have my full attention.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. Poured medium orangey-amber with a tall, fluffy, sticky cap of off-white head.. nice lacing as it descended. The aroma picked up slightly tart red fruits, caramel, and some biscuity notes with dusty and abrasive (two different things) accents.. started out good, but didnít come together in the end. The flavor found the same fruits and caramel at the core with pine and floral bitterness around.. the bitterness became too assertive with too little balance on the back.. tacky on the finish. Light-medium bodied and bitter on the palate.. balance and feel just werenít there.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours with a copper to golden color. Some aroams of hops and pine, flavors are subdued, not as hoppy as I would have liked. Seems to have some rather unique flavor profille with strawbeery, stone fruit and some hops in the background. Not bad though.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz botttle from Bubble Liquor in Castle Rock. Pours murky copper with thick off-whte head. Aroma is sweet malt, candied sugar, hops, and a little citrus. Flavor is malty with caramel, candied sugar and some hops. Definitly more a malt forward IPA. More of balance APA than a IPA in my opinion. Decent ale just not a good IPA.
