Commercial Description:
Red Truck IPA is an American India Pale Ale, generously dry hopped to give this beer a full hop aroma and flavor, but with a strong caramel malt profile that balances the intense hop flavor and aroma with a slight sweetness that makes this beer a rich experience in flavor.

Bottled. Cloudy orange amber with medium white head that lasts though the whole brew. Aroma of grass and resin hops along with obvious caramel malts, slightly sweet smelling. Taste is semi-sweet with lots of hop flavor though has more malt character than most IPAs, which makes this brew somewhat unique and fun to drink.

Clear copper appearance, good head formation. Strong hoppy, piney citrus aroma. Prickly, spicey palate, dry in the finish with a strong bitter bite. Extreme bitterness but not much balance or complexity.

Pours a medium, off-white head that lingers thin with little/no lacing. Nice hop aroma, slightly woody. Clear bronze beer with nice bitter, oaky flavor that finishes long and almost smoky. Very good overall, could use a bit more malt body.

Courtesy of arcdz. Hazy amber body with a medium off-white head. The nose pine, apricot, grapefruit and cotton candy. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter with cotton candy, honey, grapefruit, pine and herbs. Medium/full body is round with light carbonation.

Bottle, courtesy the Grand Junction relatives. Bright citrus hops on the nose, with some sharp pine notes underneath. Flavor was nicely hoppy, lively and crisp, with a nice bitter finish. Tasty stuff.

12oz botttle from Bubble Liquor in Castle Rock. Pours murky copper with thick off-whte head. Aroma is sweet malt, candied sugar, hops, and a little citrus. Flavor is malty with caramel, candied sugar and some hops. Definitly more a malt forward IPA. More of balance APA than a IPA in my opinion. Decent ale just not a good IPA.

Copper with a rocky slowly dissipating beige crown. Aroma of grapefruit, grassy hops, caramel malt and light citrus. First impression is just back end bitterness with not much else. Subsequent sips reveal citrus, bready, pale and sweet malts. Bitterness does linger on and some astringency creeps in as does an acidic finish.
