Another name for the "Palm Hopper", which is also 6% ABV and also dry-hopped with the home grown Hallertau Mittelfrüh.

Mooie oranje gele kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt fruitig, hop en mout. Smaakt beetje bitter. Verder iets zoetig. Uiterlijk en geur waren positief, smaak niet.

Light aroma with sour malts and some citrus. Golden color with minimal white head. Clear liquid. Light taste with malts dampen by messy bit sweet hops. Some sourness and unbalanced flavors. Narrow taste spectrum and short malty aftertaste. Light body with high/medium carbonation. Overall bad mix of malts and bad hops.

On bottle in Gent. Clear golden color- good foam. Not a really hoppy beer, more of a mediocre golden with some malt and hops; medium / low aroma intensity. Medium body & complexity . Ok enough ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I was very excited to try this new Palm beer. It is basically a fresher tasting variety of the normal Palm, and with a ’hoppier’ taste. A good beer, but I’d still rather drink a regular Palm.

Bottle off the in-laws for Xmas. Burnished brass capped densely with white. Nose strong lager tipping into orange boiled sweet, grass cuttings, light leather and pine. Honey slickness oozing soft polished pine and orange barley sweetness. Mildly soapy hop finish with a cashew-hinting linger. Floral specks. Grows as it warms. Pleasant but as hoppy as a squashed frog.

Cerveja com excelente drinkability, sons de lúpulo muito presente e amargor na média, bebe-se bem durante um dia inteiro

33cl bottle. The nice, firm foam - white rocky head - tops a hazy, amber beer. The appearance is lovely and the flavours too. The delicious hoppy nose comes from the wellknown German Hallertauer Mittelfrüh. These hops on Belgian acres is also used for the third hopping (the dry hopping). This Palm Hop Select (the former Palm Hopper) is not that bitter, and therefor very accessible for many beer lovers. The mouth has a great sweetness too, making the beer a very well balanced hoppy ale.

01-03-2015 - This is not very special, but certainly way better than the original Palm.

330cc bottle. Pours blond orange a bit cloudy with frothy white head. Some hop aromas, herbal. On the sweet side. Interesting for hot days

Brown lightly opaque beer with a weak head and nicely bubbly. Smell is typical German, metallic, flowery with a hint of chlorine. Touch of white pepper. Taste is crispy hoppy bitterness, with hints of resin. The finish is refreshingly watery with hints of resin.

19.4.2014. Smells like basic lager. And taste is not much different. Even has some metallic impurity, and not really hops.
