Bottle@home. Golden clear. Small head. Fruity notes. Very clean taste for an ale. Though more creamy and peppery than a lager. Fine brew.

UPDATED: JAN 2, 2014 Draft at Fado. Pours a nice clear medium copper gold with a decent bright white foamy head. Nice runny lace. Tastes lightly wheaty and hoppy. Oranges studded with cloves. Toasted Challah bread. Golden plums. French toast. Green grapes. Chamomile. Slight Band-Aid. Nice bubbly champagne body. Fuller (and better) than the standard Palm.

330 ml bottle bought at Valentino Chocolatier in Wan Chai.

Translucent amber honey colour; One and a quarter finger head and crumpety white foam which lasts for 2 minutes; Very good sticky lacing with active small carbonation; Quite fragrant sweet aroma of malt, with pineapple, light banana, faint vanilla, ester, light caramel, sugar and faint grass; Medium sweet taste of malt, with light syrups, light red fruits, grapes, caramel, molasses, light tartness, very light liquorices and thin grass; Mid to light body, slightly slick palate; Mouth feel is like a sub-par version of Leffe Blonde: slightly thicker amber gold body but with less fruity tastes, sweet elements in abundance (syrup, molasses, some caramel), and really fizzy soda feel (I burped quite a lot), okay malty palate and some cherry-like tart notes, other than that it’s really bare; Hoppiness is faint grass in nose and taste. Very light liquorices for some hints astringency. Sweet finish; Fairly dry after taste, very easy and sweet to mouth.

Comments: This is a macro Belgian Ale which is second banana to Leffe Blonde. It has thicker body, beautiful froth and heads, and nice boozy kicks, but the aroma and taste is just bare bone industrial ester and sweetness. Still fully drinkable, but not worth the US$4.0 import price tag, with Leffe Blonde being the cheaper and tastier alternative.

Cerveza oscura, color chocolate oro, al principio un poco dulce al final amargo, me gusta mas que la palm regular, espumosa buena acompañada de unas galletas de sal.

Had on tap at Max's in Baltimore. Pours a crystal clear golden. Minimal white head. Aroma is malt and cooked corn. Slightly sweet. Light bodied and finishes pretty sweet. Ok but unremarkable. Nice session beer.

Clear golden pour with a white soapy head. Aroma of fruit and yeast. Sweet fruit flavor with apple, banana and a hint of yeast. Somewhat thin consistency.
