Beer isn’t great but also not very bad. Think this one scores a bit too low on this website. Everything about this beer is pretty decent.

30cl bottle from my beer cellar from 2006. Decent white head. Amber colour. Lots of sediment. I think I left it in my cellar too long. Not a bad beer but not great either

330 ml botle at home in Germany thanks to shrubber85. This falls into the 85% of Belguim beers that are either crap or overated because of where they are brewed. The other 15% are excellent. This however falls into the overated because of where it is brewed group. Pours a hazy orange color with a big white head. Aroma is fruity and spiced. Taste is fruity with caramel and spice. Sweet but funny palate. This is a slightly below average beer.

On tap in the Cafe De Engelbewaarder. Clear amber beer. Short lived white head, Light semi dry palate. Light clean malt, slightly sweet. Some well buried hop fruit. Dry finish. Easy drinking and doesn’t taste like 7.5%. Goes well with food.

Spina, Cafè "Poco Loco" - Amsterdam. Strong ale ambrata, di poco spessore, schiuma sottile e non aderente, lascia comunque un discreto palato

The stronger version of the Palm beer. It doesn’t help them make it better, though.

Bottle in a hotel room in Kortrijk. Hazy orange red coloured with a huge white head. Fruity aroma of caramel and spices. Fruity flavour of caramel and spices. Spicy finish.

Excesively strong with not much belgian spicy taste. But still good to have some of these on a drinking gathering or party. Goldy and nice foam.
