Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 25 cl. Courtesy of Countbeer. Pours a clear deep golden withh a white head. Very subtle hop aroma atop some caramel. Medium body, caramel and overripe fruit with a toffeeish finish. No real bitterness. Completely lacks impact of the Nelson Sauvin Hops. 040213

Draught at Bierspeciaalcafe De Paas, Den Haag
Blond color. Strange aroma, light manure, very light fruit. The flavor is bland, very anonymous, with light fruitiness, absent bitterness.
Not entirely bad, but waste of precious hops.

Bottle at base camp, Utrecht, during the late nights of post-Borefts fun. Pours perfectly clear gold with a small, white foam head. Light caramel in the nose, some pine, modest old urine. Medium sweet flavor with some tang and wet grass. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Moderately sweet finish with light metal, tangy grass, faint toasty sugars, a bit more pee. Odd, not altogether pleasant.

Hopfig herber Antrunk, der im ersten Moment vollmundig, dann aber blechern wirkt. Etwas grasig, wenig intensiver Mittelteil und Nachhall. Leicht herber Abgang. 7/7/7/5/5/5

Small, if reasonably stable white head over clear metallic-golden beer. Toasted malts, sugarsyrup, honey, bit herbal... as to Nelson Sauvin?? Even not dry - sweetish pale and toasted malts, seems even a tad oxydized. Light body, slick, bit dead. Very Palm, little Sauvin. ’nuff said.

On tap at Engelbewaarder Café, Amsterdam, Netherlands 29.09.11 on a truly gorgeous, wonderfully warm sunny day. Pours warm gold with good clarity, there is a rim of white bubbles. Bit of cereal in the mouth, I assumed that the Sauvin stood for brewed with Nelson Sauvin hops but I cannot say that these really shone, that said it was a perfectly fine beer, I suppose one could say it was a sensible strength, touch sweet, little fruity, fine. .
