Bottle, 33 cl. I don’t have the ’speciale’ on my bottle, just Palm, but I think this is the best option to rate the Palm. An amber coloured beer with a medium white head, disappearing fast however. The arroma is malty, fruity and amber. The taste is not very strong, but nice: some malts, yeasts and a light bitter, hoppy finish. Also a bit watery overall. Refreshing beer. Doesn’t get a high score, but doens’t mean that this is a bad beer: it is a very decent beer, only a bit too light in alcohol and in taste and a bit too watery.

Aroma is a bit non-descript, mildly malty, like an english pale ale, mildly fruity, very boring... Pours a deep golden with a nice head that fades quickly but leaves small condensed bubbles... Mildly fruity with cereal malts and no hops, slightly sweet... After taste is fritos... Definitely belgiums equivelent of yuengling...
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 CanIHave4Beers (2000) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - OCT 12, 2009
Huh, people really don’t seem to like this much... Pours a clear golden color with a good medium head and good lace. The aroma is lightly fruity if a little faint... sort of spicy. The flavor is lightly bitter with a nice fruitiness, overall very crisp and clean almost tastes like a fruity well made pale lager.
3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 judasbeer (431) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 4, 2009
33 cl bottle. Pours deep golden with tiny, creamy, white head. The aroma is very light with grains and some
fruity malts and weird tart character. The flavor is a pleasant surprise to me. It has a very smooth, almost oily body with sweet cereals and some interesting fruity (maybe elderberry?) character with a short spicey finish. Not bad.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 armando629 (1939) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 1, 2009
0,33 l bottle. Poured clear deep amber with a smasll offwhite head. Moderated aroma opens slowly with a light walnut, some fruity character, light hop perfume. Medium bodied beer with toasty caramel flavor, fruity tastes, hop in the finish. Dry aftertaste with some nutty tastes.Easy drinkable, well balanced beer, it is underrated...
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 zapprentice (314) - East Setauket, New York, USA - SEP 30, 2009
Pretty poor tasting beer. Aroma is malt with no character. Flavor is just bland, with a fruit tinge of an ending and slight hops.
