Standard low quality mass produced stuff. Similar to a hundred other beers which donít really need to be named, like this one. Undifferentiated. Off taste and aroma.

Pour at bottleshare. Muddy orange with slight white head. Aroma is dish soap, alcohol, rose petals. Taste is muddled hop...more floral than bitter, but everything is a bit difficult to pull out individually. Funky sour/stale aftertaste. Didnít dig it.

chinchill (1683) - South Carolina, USA - MAY 1, 2014
33cl bottle with a BB date of 15 Oct. 2014. Pour clear amber with waymore visible carbonation bubbles than average. Not surprisingly then, the head has very good retention. Aroma: earthy (bristish) pilsner Flavor: nicely balanced mix of bready malts and English hops. Feel: lively carbonation; dry; near medium body. O: A Belgian ale leaning far towards an ESB or pilsner.

Lagerboy (1184) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 1, 2014
500 ml can. Clear light copper, off-white foam settles and mostly lasts. Muddled aroma of caramel, malt, yeast and corn. Thin mild caramel malt taste, floral herbal notes, some fruitiness and yeast... weird, boring and bland. Average carbonation, lighter bodied, lightly hopped. Belgiumís version of industrial swill? Op tap. Donker geel van kleur met een matige schuimkop. Speciaalbiertje met een waterige afdronk voor de rest een goede aanvulling op het Chinees ;-)

A true speciale belge. Amber colored, with a slight metallic taste. Some distant hops as well.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance had an amber colored body, just a film of a foamy white head, no lacing, small streams of carbonation are seen rising. The smell had some Belgian yeast, light malts and hops, some light fruits once the beer warms. The taste was slightly sweet through the malts. On the palate, it sat at/about a light to medium, sessionable, moderate harshness on the tongue. Overall, this is good for the style and good for me.

Rated on 12-28-2011 at Graydonís Crossing in Grand Rapids, MI. This draft beer has a small smooth off-white head with a lengthy retention, transparent gold body, very little carbonation observed, and a generous amount of lacing adorns my glass. The aroma is very simple...crisp and malty. The flavor is caramel malt and crisp. The mouthfeel is soft and this beer is light bodied. This is a session beer, but there is not much to it for aroma and flavor. It is simply a boring and bland tasting beer. Too bad because I like my Belgian beers.

Amberkleurig. Wat moutige geur en smaak, caramel, gist., beetje onaangename smaak. Nooit zoín liefhebber van palm geweest.
