3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2006 (Bottle 25 cl) For my first "Palm" years ago I remember saying that it’s taste was pretty close to a brewery’s smell. But that was something to appreciate. Nice amber colour, the head disappears a bit fast for my liking. Yeasty, malty nose and some caramel notes well balanced with the hops. Very high drinkability. 060693

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Beermerchants. Clear copper brown colour. Lasting thick white head. Some yeast some caramel some hop on aroma. It’s a bit like a British bitter to be honest. Touch metallic on the finish. Wont win best Belgian Ale competitions. Its drinkable enough but has a bit of an odd flavour on end. Lacks flavour and character. Its mostly inoffensive

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a beige head. Quite weak on the nose, with a grainy maltyness dominating. Disappointingly weak flavor, malty, with some caramel. Sure easy to drink, but too boring. Medium body, and a slightly fruity finish with some malt. Lacks bitterness I think. I remembered this one to be much more interesting, but of course my palate have changed, and it’s not impossible that the beer have changed too. Still, it’s far from a bad beer, easy to drink, and quenching. (071215)
