COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
PALM Ale has long been one of Europe’s top-selling specialty beers. Made with English hops, French Barley, and Belgian yeast, PALM represents the best of European beer-making traditions. It’s the roasted Champagne Malt which gives PALM its amber color, but without being heavy. Also available bottle-conditioned as Palm Hergist.

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2006 (Bottle 25 cl) For my first "Palm" years ago I remember saying that it’s taste was pretty close to a brewery’s smell. But that was something to appreciate. Nice amber colour, the head disappears a bit fast for my liking. Yeasty, malty nose and some caramel notes well balanced with the hops. Very high drinkability. 060693

Draught. Copper coloured, big foamy head. Cranberry aroma with hoppy hints. Hoppy malty flavour with weak hints of fruit. Pretty boring for being Belgian...

Bottle. Amber colour, white unstable head. Flavour is anonymous. A little bonbon, a hint of rye. Watery aftertaste. Easy to drink. You decide whether that is good or bad.
