PALM Ale has long been one of Europe’s top-selling specialty beers. Made with English hops, French Barley, and Belgian yeast, PALM represents the best of European beer-making traditions. It’s the roasted Champagne Malt which gives PALM its amber color, but without being heavy. Also available bottle-conditioned as Palm Hergist.
Sold as Palm outside of Europe.

On tap 0,5l. Pours an amber color with medium head. Aroma of hops and soft bready malts. Soft mouthfeel with a pleasant carbonation. Taste of caramel and bread. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tasted at some Brussels beer cafe. Almost forgot to add this after my Belgian beer trip. Taste is a bit too sweet for me. Something like caramel. Might be better with food.

One of the best, relatively ’normal’ Belgian ales out there. Perfect to just drink and not worry too much!

Barwa bursztynowa wpadająca w brąz, klarowna. Piana obfita, drobnopęcherzykowa, trwała. W aromacie przede wszystkim palone słody. W smaku trochę karmelu, owoców, słodycz jakby sztuczna. Wysycenie zbyt wysokie, goryczki praktycznie brak.

From draught at Asbury Festhaul & Biergarten. Clear and light brown/yellow color. Dried candy flavor. Malt, roast, yeast. Not too enthralling in any way.

Reddish light and clear pour from draft at bottom lounge. White head. Pretty gross. Dank fruity flavor. Makes me cringe a little.

Tap. Clear golden-amber pour with a small foamy head that fades to a film. Aroma is grainy with a light generic fruitiness and flowers. Tastes like smooth bready malt with grass and light esters. Boring but better than american macros.

0,25l bottle @Schipol. Amber. No head. Light yeasty aroma with hints of peach. Mild flavour, slightly too worty. Decent.

Pours clear pale gold with one fat finger of rocky white head diminishing gradually to a thin cap, moderate lacing. (4/5) Nose is bready caramel malt, apples and stone fruit, grassy hops. (5/10) Taste is moderate sweet, mild bitter. (4/10) Light to medium bodied, moderate to low carbonation, lingering bitter finish. (2/5) Is it a requirement that all beers called “Special”, suck? 12 oz via bottle whilst disc golfing, purchased at Tipsy’s. Toasted grains, light malt sweetness and light hop bitterness. Crisp, mild and easy to drink.
