COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
PALM Ale has long been one of Europe’s top-selling specialty beers. Made with English hops, French Barley, and Belgian yeast, PALM represents the best of European beer-making traditions. It’s the roasted Champagne Malt which gives PALM its amber color, but without being heavy. Also available bottle-conditioned as Palm Hergist.
Sold as Palm outside of Europe.

Drank on draft. Beautiful reddish gold colour. Full body, satisfying taste. Not a "session beer" but more for drinking like a glass of wine, sip by sip. Not for getting drunk but for getting the taste. Excellent beer.

Clear amber color beer with nice with head, high carbonation. Taste is some spicey and some light bitternes.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear amber color with medium creamy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel malt, floral hops, yeast and cereals. Taste starts with moderate sweet biscuity malt, follows by mild fruity and yeasty acidity with mild spicy mouthfeel and very mild bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Good session brew, but not outstanding for Belgian qualities...

Een van de bekenste bieren in België, maar het is spijtig genoeg een smaak die ik echt niet lust

Keg. Amber, with a fairly solid white head. Caramel and toffee malty aroma. A little bit creamy in the mouth, some sweetness, malty, bready hints. Quite nice.

Fruity and spritzy with a medium malty body. Finish is short, sour, and slightly watery with a very faint bitterness.

OOKPIKABLE (66) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 5, 2014
Pours amber with quickly dissipating white head. Aroma of malts, corn and apples. In terms of taste, the corn shines through, along with a not overly pleasant cidery apple flavour.

Pours amber with a white head. This is a pretty bland affair really. Like a strong tasting lager, but with some yeasty notes in there too. Drinkable, but not one I’ll be revisiting.

30 July 2014, tap. Amber, clear, no bubbles. Nose is sweet spiced malt. Med body and moderately fizzy. Sugary, noticeable alcohol, granola malt, caramel. Meh. Heavy for a refreshing beer and fake syrupy for a nice medium dark beer.

Draft at Rooney’s. Amber. Malt forward with citrus notes. Toast and caramel are also in the mix. Dry finish. Not bad, only had one but, I could easily drink a few. A nice session ale with a full body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a dark golden color with a thin white head. Hints of caramel in aroma and taste. Mild.
